Murloc Monday Murloc Monday - ask your questions here
Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle! RwlRwlRwlRwl!
That's murloc for "Welcome to Murloc Mondays" - where people can ask any type of question about WoW without getting strangled by a Death Knight.
Questions can range from what's new in Dragonflight, what class is OP, and how many Demons will it take to down Thrall?
Questions can come from brand new players, players returning, or veteran players who never got a chance to ask the right question.
Afraid of not getting an answer? Rest assured, we know that at least 90% of questions get answered!
You may want to look at /r/wownoob as well!
Here are some handy guides to start World of Warcraft as a brand new player or start Classic World of Warcraft as a brand new player.
Unless you played in the current expansion, pretty much everything has changed. If you're returning after a very long break, check out the Wowhead Returning Players Guides.

Question Bring back archeology! With house decorations.
It was a fun profession to use, now we have houses, why not to dig for furnitures/decorations for our homes?

Discussion please, blizz..
I know that taste is highly subjective, but I can’t help but feel that the last couple of trading posts have been subpar in quality, compared to what came before. I dont mind a month or two of low effort-low fantasy basic sets, but its been like this for almost half a year. Now I’m not asking for Frostmourne weapon transmogs or Arthas’ personal armor set, but surely we can get better stuff than the same ten recolored leg wraps and whimsical forest mushroom hat every.single.month.
I have stacked like 5000 traders tenders at this point and got nothing to spend it on. The trading post used to be exciting, especially during october and as we drew closer to the anniversary each year. I’m fully aware that the good stuff tends to land on the in-game cash shop, but its getting harder and harder to defend it when the disparity between trading post and cash shop grows more obvious each month. I know that the general
focus seems to be on the forever launch, but cmon..
I’m also fully aware that the trading post is completely optional, and a bonus incentive to play the game, but the fall of in quality to me seems even more obvious when you compare it to what came before. We used to have legion artifact-quality, class specific weapon and armor transmogs. Last but not least, whatever happened to all the datamined recolors of previous trading post sets? Datamined sets are pictured above.
WoW: Forever 375,806 characters made in the Forever beta (still scanning)
greetings travelers,
this is the last snapshot I'll be doing before level 30 is launched tomorrow.
some info
- 15-19 = 120,644; 20 = 76,861 characters.
- Out of the 375,806 my "naughty name" filter scanned around 10,000~ offensive names.
- I'm not entirely sure how many more characters there are, I'm going to guess well over 1M.
- Yes, levels are updated when they're scanned again (level 15 goes to 20 if he's seen again).
- Data is scanned in-game by me and a few volunteers.
- The hunter numbers are heavily skewed as I believe many are bots (their location data, how often they're seen, and location data makes me think this)
- Max level data scans aren't complete, but I'll be targeting max level (30) harder in the next rounds.
You can see more stats at classicplus.io
Nostalgia I still can't believe I have an Emerald Drake lol
Completely random post while I wait for beta to come back up, it's pretty cool coming back to fucking insane achievements you forgot you accomplished

News Blizzard Seems To Be Surveying Players About Adding Demon Hunter, Witch, Tinker, Bard, And More Classes To WoW: Forever
r/wow • u/madavoidwalker • 5h ago
Discussion We take for granted how perfect most of the game is (raids, zones, music, sound, armour, classes, etc)
Even the most controversial expansions like Shadowlands and Battle For Azeroth had truly top of the industry game design across most fields and I'm certain new players today who decide to revisit past expansions will be confused as to why they have such a bleak reputation within the broader community.
I've noticed this especially with Midnight. It feels like most vocal players, especially the YouTubers, fixate on the flaws and social media discourse, rarely acknowledging how brilliant most of the game is. I might not be won over by the story, but they're presenting it better than ever, the bosses and raids have so far been exceptional, all of the classes I've played feel like simplified love letters to the abilities players have loved most over the years, the music team has NEVER missed, the sound design which was already top of the industry somehow finds ways to raise the ceiling even higher.

Question Am I losing it? I thought this rewarded rep for Zul'jarra's Forces.
I distinctly remember the last WQ event quest having an option to receive Zul'jarra's Forces. I made note of it because I was excited it was going to push me over to the next level of rep I needed for some decor.
I will also readily admit my memory is shoddy at times, though, so I might be wrong.

Humor / Meme When October has some really cool transmog on the Trading Post
Discussion I never thought I would go back to retail WoW but I am in love again
I know the game still has its problem and I know the reasons why people don't like it.
I stopped playing for most of BFA because I really disliked how the story was going and after the whole garrison into class hall and artefact weapons only getting a "necklace" felt like such a let down on the having a cool place for my class feeling.
Also the whole keep up mechanics with feeling forced to play got over the top and I just stopped, came back for shadowlands but only for a short time.
I said goodbye to WoW the first time since the tbc days.
Played other MMO's had more fun with it and I was good.
I did come back to WoW with TWW because I was reading a good amount of positive feedback and I have to say I got my love for it back, story writing gets better again, dvelves, prey and the whole warband stuff are great features for just some chill grind.
I don't know but it overall feels less "force you to play" and shit writing like it felt in BFA and shadowlands.
Glad to be back, didn't expected to happen with how blizzard overall is nowadays.

Humor / Meme I got the reflecting prism item and it works on Valeera

I think I got the reflecting prism from the Arcantina, I'd have to check again, but JC can make it too I believe. Its a fun item that swaps your appearance with a party member's. Valeera is a party member while in Delves!
Side Note: it turned off all her voice lines, the text popped up but she was silent. Some of you might want to use this for that reason alone. lol
Feedback Please consider providing an NPC that can return the Silvermoon skybox back to the Pre-Voidspire and Pre-March modes.
Especially the Pre-Voidspire one. This might be controversial but ever since you clear March then the lighting in Silvermoon becomes unbearably horrible. Its waaaay too orange and bright and a Stinky Bright Potion, which works in every other zone, simply turns Silvermoon into a bright white eyesore nightmare.
Inky black works but I just prefer daytime zones. For most of the end of Season 1 I just played on my alt for M+ and that alt didnt clear the raid so it had the pleasant pre-voidspire lighting but now in season 2 since I'm back on my main I simply cannot bear to idle in silvermoon because of this horrendously bright lighting.
