Hopefully the women is ok - a head hitting the curb is a possible major head injury a d possible death. Plenty of people have been killed from one punch and serious head trauma hitting the ground.

The perpetrator is stupid enough now to go back and arm himself, with a tire iron - and leave his partner possibly dieing on the side of the road.

What a fool - if the victim has a gun now he has the absolute right to defend himself with lethal force.

Spot on.

And if she dies, he’s (white guy) probably gonna get charged for it.

Her husband should be charged if she dies. The husband was the aggressor. He committed a crime.

A woman (his wife) was harmed WHILE the husband was commiting a crime. Felony murder is she dies. But not the person that hit her. That man was defending himself.

My comment is agreeing with your comment, if that wasn’t clear.

If she dies, the guy who killed her would be charged. Simple as that.

And killing her would not be using “reasonable force” against her because she posed minimal threat.

Look up felony murder.

If 2 people rob a gas station and one of them gets killed, the OTHER one is charged with the murder. It doesn't matter who shot who. Someone died WHILE a crime was being committed. The definition of felony murder.

2 people walked up and assaulted a guy. OP would have been justified if he SHOT them. He sure as hell can defend himself with his hands.

I mean you can believe what you want, if you think a jury would be convinced she was assaulting the guy go ahead

1

u/feralkitten 3h ago

She and her husband exited their car and started hitting the other guy. What else would you call that besides assault? A merry chat?

A merry chat?

I wheezed

Watch the video and tell me she walks up and starts hitting him. Slow it down maybe

1

u/feralkitten 3h ago

She starts hitting him at the 27 second mark. She gets laid out 3 seconds later.

u/Known_Secretary_6615 2h ago

Oh right, with her powerful downward punch attack. Maybe a jury would find death an appropriate response for that.

Yes - the defence would be self defence but it hinges on the term reasonable force.

u/CombComprehensive327 4h ago

That was reasonable force. He didn’t keep going after her. She got hit once and went down. He stopped the threat. Sorry guy was out numbered at that point.

No, it wasn't. She tapped him on the shoulder with a limp wrist. Honestly people are missing the biggest point here, which is that he should have just stayed in his car and driven away from the threat. He got out of his car and confronted the crazed man. Could have easily been avoided. What if dude had a knife? What if wife had a knife or gun? Stupid behavior, and you are all Neanderthals for encouraging this shit. Just curb the testosterone and remove yourself from dangerous situations.

She threw 2 solid hammer-fist punches to the side of his head that connected, what are you talking about?

Have fun living on your knees in fear, rest of us will protect ourselves 🤙

That depends on a lot of factors, but at base level, she made the choice to put herself into the middle of a violent interaction. It's not the dude in the white car's responsibility to guess whether or not she is good intentioned. She didn't reach for her husband, she reached for the dude in the car. A reasonable person could reasonably conclude that she meant harm with her actions (surrounding him, reaching out, etc). It's not the victim's job to guess what the intention is, it's his responsibility to help keep himself from harm. If she doesn't ask the guy how he wants her to act, then she can't expect him to ask her how she would like him to respond. She reached out to him in a fight where he was getting assaulted without his consent, so she doesn't get to choose what his reaction will be.

In any sort of unconsented altercation, any move is fair play. If I do not consent to you coming up and throwing hands, I don't need your consent to respond accordingly. The guy in the car acted in self defense - the only reasonable argument here could be that he should have stayed in his car..

He got out of the car to fight.

I don't fully agree. In some states ypu have the right to defend yourself and your property and to stand your ground, in others you are obligated to run. This all will heavily depend on the states laws. And thought I agree that the guy who started the fight could have had a knife or a gun, the true can be said for the person in the car. Both didn't make a good decision.

u/AsstronaughtToUranus 3h ago

She came outta no where. She could have a been wielding a knife. Clearly her bf was ready to use weapons, so why not her as well? How is the defender suppose to know? He’s in the middle of fighting off the main attacker and has no time to survey the situation.

1

u/CombComprehensive327 3h ago

You don’t understand law. Tap touch putting your hands on in this situation is considered assault in most courts.
I never said I was trying to fight anyone. I’d probably get my ass kicked. To many people out there with actual training and experience

1

u/Agreeable-Agent-7384 3h ago

She balled her fist and held them up as a threat for a solid while then hit him. You’re right. People have died from a lame hit to the head, so it’s unreasonable to ask the man being attacked by two people to just let her hit him regardless of if you think it’s limp or weak. All it takes is one smack in the wrong place for things to go south.

u/Last_Profession_8658 3h ago

Please go get your eyes checked and post the results for us you nutsack

1

u/ryancrazy1 4h ago

She punched him 2-3 times, he punched her once. Seems reasonable

1

u/Klutzy-Pie6557 3h ago

And a jury may agree with you. This certainly won't help her, nor will it help pay his legal costs in defending himself nor his employment after he's arrested and loses his job.

No one wins here this is an absolute lose lose situation.

1

u/ryancrazy1 3h ago

There’s no Pc for an arrest.

1

u/musa_velutina 4h ago

Maybe she shouldn't have started to hit that other person then.

1

u/Amiro77 3h ago

woman*

1

u/Slerder 3h ago

I mean, she’s stabbing him….

1

u/Ohitsworkingnow 3h ago

What are you doing the narration for Spike TV?

1

u/HawkThunderson 36m ago

What's the past tense for "woman"?

u/Parrotcap 4h ago

Being knocked unconscious is already a traumatic brain injury. Add the fall and pavement, and it gets even more dangerous, ranging from dazed to disabled to dead.

I get that people love to cheer for karma, but hitting someone as hard as possible in the face can land you with a murder charge. This was unnecessary and dangerous for the defender to do.

1

u/WhySoCereus1991 4h ago

It is necessary. 2v1 and one is especially aggressive. This is clearly self defense. He met hands with hands and the other guy decided to grab a tire iron after not being able to actually fight. He didnt escalate anything that I can see in this video.

1

u/Parrotcap 4h ago

It is self defence. It also wouldn’t hold up in court if that woman dies or ends up in a wheelchair for life, and the defender turns into the villain. He’s level 99 and she’s a wild caterpie, I guarantee he was feeling crowded, not threatened by her presence or hurt by that stupid little smack.

1

u/minddropstudios 4h ago

If by "hands" you mean a limp-wristed light slap... Y'all just really love violence. Dude should have not gotten out of his car. He absolutely escalated. Lol. He threw the first punch.

1

u/WhySoCereus1991 4h ago

The guy rushing his car is the escalation. He just reacted.

I only love violence when it's in self defense. People shouldn't be physically confrontational if they cant fight.

1

u/Catodacat 4h ago

I think his reaction is defendable, and if I were on his jury I'd say he's innocent, but he would still be put on trial, with all that entails. It is always better to de-escalate if possible (and I'm not saying it was in this situation)

1

u/WeinMe 4h ago

I don't know if unnecessary. It's a dangerous situation, obviously he can't spend a lot of time neutralising her, when her man could possibly attack from behind while the black mans attention is on her

1

u/Jako7786 4h ago

When someone is defending themself from multiple attackers, they don’t have time to judge the force needed in their defensive actions.
