Is there a bar or spot near Barclays Arena where Nets fans gather pre game? Coming to a game from overseas and would love to have some atmosphere with other fans.

This is a little weird, but I've wondered it for years and it just popped into my head the other day, so I thought I'd ask.

Back in the Izod Center era (it might have even still been Continental Airlines Arena at this point), during games, the Nets would launch Chipotle burritos into the crowd with the tshirt cannon.

There was this video package intro which showed players (or maybe just a player, I don't really remember) going to Chipotle and ordering food. Then Team Hype, or whatever they were called, would come out and start shooting burritos into the crowd.

Chipotle was relatively new at this time, not one on every corner like now.

My question is: did they actually shoot burritos into the crowd or was it just a Chipotle tshirt wrapped up in foil made to look like a burrito?

Somebody's got to know!

And if anyone’s wondering, they won a championship last season so yeah, they are a “contender”

We officially have the youngest roster in the entire NBA
Saw a breakdown of team ages for this season and we're #1... in youngest roster, at like 24.3 average. Traoré, Demin, Saraf, Wolf all still basically kids. Feels like the full rebuild is finally here. I'm lit.

Would ya be willing to do it?

Decided to look at DARKO, which is a popular projection model in the NBA analytics space. I clumped Egor with other recent "high feel, high skill" jumbo wings and compared their offensive projections.

Rookie Egor took a big production/projection leap by about the 40 game mark. He essentially reached rookie Franz level by the second half of last season (Franz was half a year older). Deni's projection is a little weird because Washington never gave him the ball, but regardless, all 3 of these guys have progressed a TON since their rookie year, and Egor's baseline was the highest along with Franz.

Get ready for the show

nets media day out of context

Good morning/afternoon/evening,

This is a place for Nets fans to discuss almost anything. Make sure to follow the rules, be civil, and have fun!

Don't forget to join our official r/GoNets discord to continue talking HERE!

No big, bad surprises. No weird quotes. No awkward moments.

Everyone just seemed to be on the same page. Even MPJ and Marks, with whatever contract negotiations they have going on, they seem like they're on completely good terms. It's nothing like the Cam Thomas situation.

I think the worst part was finding out Mikel rolled his ankle a little while ago, but even then, they say it's not serious at all. Mikel didn't even mention it as far as I know.

I can't wait for normal hoops again in my Brooklyn soup.

Hey everyone!!

Have any of you seen any more news about the NetsFest event this Sunday ? I haven’t seen anything about panels, autograph signings etc .

Looks noticeably bigger.
