He’s Elway, the facility supervisor’s 12 yo Golden, who is described as the “heart and soul” of the TO. Folks raised money for him when broke his leg on the grounds.

I figured he was an elder statesman from his powder sugar dipped face. This is HIS house. You pat HIS tummy. She was exercising appropriate restraint from patting the tum of a dog she didn't know, but he was specifically in this for the tum pats.
