Could be fawn response. You never really know what's actually going on in someone's head. You can be conditioned to automatically smile when your personal safety is put at risk, and if you don't believe that, you've never been in a physically abusive relationship where you regularly feared for your life.

I 100% agree. This is either staged and really bad acting—like she forgot she should not have been happy by a “strangers” embrace.

Or exactly what you said and she is happy to have some strong arms around here when she knows it could not be her BF. I’m not saying she was getting ready to cheat or something but she was enjoying the flirt.
