I was so confused by that one.

I’ll just have to assume she wanted him to come but he couldn’t because of a prior obligation, but then he cleared his schedule because he realized nothing is more important than her… but this may just be culture shock because I live in lalaland.

Yeah, unless that's the case then it seems like an overly possessive boyfriend who couldn't even let his girlfriend have a short time away with the girls because he doesn't trust her.

Lol I can just tell by your avatar that you're the kind of guy that would do this as some kind of grand, chivalorous, romantic gesture without taking anyone else's feelings into account. Show up to an all girls trip in another country and then when your girlfriend saw you she would also be forced to pretend that she was happy because like every other woman they're scared to hurt your fragile ego and embarrass you in public.

Happily married for 10 years thanks! And if I did this my wife would rightfully ask me why the hell I was interrupting her free time with her friends when we already spend all of our time together and vacation together. Now go tip your fedora to your kitty cat 😺

Agree but also seems like she posted this. Maybe she wanted it. Maybe she did want him to come and he lied about a work commitment just to surprise her. I’ve learned to try not to judge by a second of someone’s life on social media.
