I don't like them kissing before she knows it's them. Too many of the reactions are frozen because you are assessing a threat. Yeah there's a happy ending, but that's a hell of an adrenaline spike when you think you're about to be assaulted or have to do some assaulting.

I think a lot of comments forget about “fawn”. Sometimes going along to some degree while the threatening person is behaving with a positive mood, can be a calculated choice to not piss off the person that’s already close enough to hurt you.

As a woman who has had similar happen to me (getting hugged from behind by a guy friend in a situation where I did not expect to see him). It's terrifying. I, too, froze up. Guys, don't do this shit!

Once I was vacuuming and didn't hear my husband come in and he came up and hugged me from behind. I completely freaked out, hit him hard several times, before seeing it was him and collapsing in tears. He's never done something like that again and he didn't think about the fact that it would be terrifying to suddenly have someone touching you when you thought you were home alone. It's crazy the stupid things some guys can do because they don't realize the situations women are frequently put in that are scary and dangerous.

Yup, the only ones that react well immediately are the ones who could easily read the situation from their female friends faces. Guys honestly don't know how hard it is for a woman to even just exist in the outside world. I saw a college guy in TEARS when he witnessed a groping for the first time in his life. A man grabbed my butt in passing and I had to council the guy who saw it happen out of an existential crisis over the fact that these things are done in broad daylight, he was so upset that he was literally crying and shouting about it... While I've had it happen so often that I don't even remember each seperate time anymore

I don't like that some of the women actually seem quite happy a stranger is hugging them and then they are shocked when they realise its their boyfriend? lol. I get that maybe you might forget that they shouldn't be there or something but some of those shocked faces are proper proper shock. Specifically 0:34 lol
