She probably it was somebody joking around. Most people I know would tolerate it or play along for a few seconds until they knew what's going on. Explain loading on strangers is rarely the smart reaction.

If it’s a girls trip or birthday weekend they probably assumed it was someone they knew and not a rando.

Others are probably just smiling out of fear and awkwardness because it is often unsafe to reject men especially ones with zero regard for personal space.

Kinda weird to jump to conclusions that something sus is happening and that women can’t be trusted. Reddit not beating the incel allegations.
