We got some of the best movies in Phase 4 in Thunderbolts, which explored concepts like loneliness and guilt, which is rare in projects of this scale nowadays. Also, GOTG: Vol. 3 was one of the most emotional movies in phase 5 and finally showed us Rocket's tragic backstory. Both No Way Home and Deadpool and Wolverine were some of the most epic movie events that got people to theatres in droves to watch them and had some of the best cameos and teamups in MCU history! Imagine telling someone in 2018 that we would one day see Hugh Jackman's Wolverine teaming up with Wesley Snipes's Blade and Chris Evans's Human Torch in an R-rated Deadpool project. Or that we will see all three live-action Spider-Man fight together.
And to top it all, we have some of the best TV shows in the entire superhero industry so far with some of the most critically acclaimed and stunningly designed projects in Loki which introduced us with the concept of the Sacred Timeline and the TVA all of which are building up to the events in Doomsday! We got a sitcom-style series in WandaVision, which is still some of the best performance of Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda, in my opinion. While there were some issues with Falcon and The Winter Soldier, I think it was still an enjoyable hourney into Sam finally taking up the mantle of Captain America and also giving us John Walker who is a great addition to the MCU and a fan-favourite of mine and others. The fact that we got to watch Oscar Isaac as MoonKnight in a mature TV setting is a dream come true and is one of the coolest characters to be introduced in recent years.
We got to experience all of this in one of the so-called downfall eras of Marvel and people saying that "Marvel Fatigue" is real, and this is the end of superhero blockbusters!
