The labels on the peg board all have different sizes on them. Like different size wrenches. But all of these are adjustable wrenches.

Wrong. Labels usually shows the maximum wrench spread. So they are different.

I mean did you look at the picture? They’re clearly the same wrench adjusted smaller and smaller as they go left. I understand in a real shop this is how it would work but this was clearly set up for the joke

What others already said about wrench is adjustable, also noticed that the top row are using metric (millimeters) while the bottom are using imperial (inches)

i hate people who label stuff like this.
the "correct" label is farther away from the object than another label.

Peters mechanic here. Those are adjustable wrenches and don't have a fixed size. Some newer or less equipped trades people will use them exclusively instead of the proper sized wrenches. There is a colloquially joke in my area where you ask the apprentice to go find a metric adjustable.

I will add that setups like this are common for non adjustable wrenches, so it’s funny specifically because they’re using a real organization system that’s designed for a certain type of wrench and applying it to a kind of wrench where it makes no sense. And they committed to the bit too, you can see they actually did adjust them to be smaller and smaller as you move left
