Spotlight On Media Outlets The White House didn't just ban the press—they already had a 24/7 Trump TV feed waiting to take their place.

The White House rolled out "Trump TV" as a 24/7 streaming feed immediately after exiling CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, which caused the rest of the White House television pool—even Fox News—to refuse pool duties in solidarity.

Launching a dedicated, branded 24/7 administration channel right as the pool boycott and federal First Amendment lawsuit landed makes the three-day gap look a lot less like a spontaneous reaction to bad coverage and a lot more like a planned transition to an in-house state media broadcast.

Michael Popak and All of Medias Touch Ben especially, are dominating independent media! I bet they're the whole reason that got this set in motion. They are the first to report and bring receipts, even though they're getting so repetitive lately. Katie Phang, Aaron Parnas, Adam Mockler are a real threat to this Regime and the Orange Clown can't stand it. MSNow, CNN and Politico have already submitted a 27-page lawsuit, suing on 1st and 5th amendment rights: While they already had an excellent chance of winning on the 5th--as they drew the same judge who last year overturned the White House's ban of CNN reporter Jim Acosta--now they have an excellent chance on winning on the 1st as well, as Trump actually SAID, "Oh, you mean my removal of the Free Press?"

It seems likely this will be overturned as soon as Wednesday.

I actually mean us, as in “we the people”. I don’t want my news from the ruling class. It’s unconstitutional, and prevents free speech and is exactly what the constitution was designed to prevent.
Our news is being co-opted for profit.

Sure the big guys can take lumps out of each other, but the people need to step up and also stamp this stupid shit out. There needs to be a limit, and this is over that.

I don’t want to share bad vibes or give anyone ideas, but the anger fuel of this machine comes from Fox News, but the “calming” voice of the dear leader is now going to be on a different channel. That’s going to break a habit loop that was self reinforcing.
I like the allegory of the cave -do you know that story? Breaking this habit loop is gonna force a lot of people to turn around.

I do not believe I've heard the cave story. I hope your right about breaking the habit loop. I've heard several stories about people's children getting them to turn off Fox News and within days they would start to question things that they had seen as undeniable truth up to that point.

It's absolutely been planned well in advance, just as Project 2025 outlined for the neo-Nazi far-right coup to subvert the electoral process to secure control and power for the foreseeable future while their authoritarian police state roll out is completed and martial law is declared before the next presidential election. The rush now is because they are terrified of the midterm elections interfering with their ongoing plundering and undermining, and complete destruction of democracy in America.

Two things… I think OP is saying it’s for show. Fox is colluding with the WH on this to try to protect themselves. I don’t buy it, Trump isnt pro foxnews, he’s pro controlled news, and even Fox will call him out from time to time. He doesn’t absolutely control them.

I think the majority of the propaganda that is spread online would go away if they banned using VPNs to make online comments and required the internet provider to list the location of the person’s post/comment. Then all the foreign troll farms would come to light.

trump banned 3 networks as a pretext /excuse for a state run propaganda channel.

why?

b/c we might be looking at marital law/national emergency declared by trump bc of "terrorism" or because he's fucked the diesel gas supplies in the USA but it's all an excuse for when Trump suspends and/or upends midterm elections. any dissent is crushed by ICE/national security trump gestapo as well as red state trump friendly national guard.

I get the assumption that this was all coordinated, but the White House has been streaming events since the Obama Administration. They are just “rebranding” that stream as Trump TV. As per the usual, Trump didn’t think any of this through. It was purely reactive.
