The Republicunts will still vote in favor of destroying our country.

Gotta own the libs even if my meds are $300/mo instead of $15.00 I work with a few that should have retired but can't afford to quit. I tell them to vote better but they won't hear it. Just regurgitate Fox new crap.

I mean republicans wanted to destroy America and they have succeeded. It will take decades of very hard work and very high taxes to correct what Trump has done.

u/guster75 21h ago
Tax the billionaires. A lot.

Billionaires at 40% Trump at 90%.
Since he's trying to make it so he won't have to pay taxes at all.

I feel your post is a bit disingenuous. I honestly believe the average American, regardless of political affiliation, does not want to "destroy America"
I do however believe the average Republican voter has been convinced that the Democrats want to destroy America, and that the average Democrat voter has been convinced that Republicans want to destroy America. This is by design. Make the average American hate half of their own country and they won't notice what's really happening.
The only people who actually want to destroy America are the oligarchs who will enrich themselves from the destruction of our economy, and the foreign countries with interests in sowing discord in the United States of America.

I’m sorry but I very strongly disagree.
One side votes to make the country a better place, The other side votes to make everyone suffer including themselves just to “own” the other side.
So while yes it is designed for us to hate each other, It’s extremely clear to see that republicans deliberately voted for someone to fuck the country, TWICE.
Republicans DELIBERATELY voted to fuck every over aka destroy the country.
Saying that you don’t think one side wants to fuck the country over is sticking your head in the sand and completely ignoring everything that’s happened in the past 10 years

u/Sad-Cantaloupe-5494 20h ago
This is the correct answer. Despite our differences, we're all people who are suffering from the same problems at the hands of the same people. We need another revolution, and that's going to take courageous folks from both sides of the aisle
9
u/Live-Tank-2998 18h ago
one side of the aisle is currently throwing families into camps and trying to run forced detransition experiments in federal prisons. Any courage from that side that could exist is immediatelt invalidated by the fact that an ounce of courage would mean you arent on that side in the first place. You bothsiders are always so disconnected from the amount of damage that one side is doing, if you wouldnt be singing the tone you are. I suspect youre largely embarassed republicans who dont want to admit it.

Its insane when you actually look at the timescale. It feels like it would take five years plus to hit this level of fractured dystopia.
15
u/TAU_equals_2PI 21h ago
The whole premise of Project 2025 (you know, that plan Donald Trump claimed he had never heard of) was to hit the ground running the moment Trump was inaugurated and just flood the zone with so many things that it would be impossible to stop them all.

With billionaires' money behind secretive technology, anything is possible.
That's why I no longer trust American elections. But I will still vote.

Anyone who didn’t vote Kamala in 2024 is responsible for Trump right now. Don’t be retarded, go vote for whoever is blue and on the ballot.

Just look at the American southeast, the former confederate states, if you want to see exactly what multigenerational de facto one party republican rule looks like. Literal third world standards of mortality, quality of life, crime, education, etc. Just like with Project 2025 this is an open book test. You can see EXACTLY what republican policies will produce. Do you want to live like that?

Yes, because one election will fix this shitshow, and Trump will have a completely sensible response if he loses. /s

IT'S ONLY BEEN TWO YEARS? It feels like a fucking lifetime. This is exhausting.
4
u/MoonsterGoopter 20h ago
to be fair: most people don't really care about the reflecting pool, the east wing, the Kennedy Center; some care about USAID. Gas being affordable is relatable to nearly everyone and shouldn't be buried with the rest of that.

Libs were too busy wanting to punish Kamala for Gaza and a bunch of other people didn't want a female president, or she was a cop, or not different enough from Biden.
I'd love to ask these people whether it was worth it, sticking it to Kamala.

As someone not in America: I no longer want Democrats to vote.
It will only lead to a much better world.
Every possible outcome is better for humanity.
Let conservatives continue to fuck up the country.

u/Terrible_Bee_6876 19h ago
Probably lead with the gas stuff, compare the percentage of voters who are inconvenienced by the inaccessibility of the East Wing to the percentage of voters who are inconvenienced by having to choose between food and fuel every day. People outside of extremely online political echo chambers and wealthy residents of Washington DC do not care about these niche DC venue stories.

Get usaid tf outta here. I love the vibe of the rest but why do we pay taxes if we aren’t helping the people at home? I couldn’t give less of a fuck if afghan kids can read, let their government figure that out. Why do Americans want our money to help other countries sooooo badly. Go walk outside your nearest town center and throw homeless people cheeseburgers if you wanna feel warm and fuzzy.

u/Equivalent_Net_8983 21h ago
Is that what you do?

u/Boring_Drama_4947 20h ago
Yeah I like doing cheeseburger and water runs or during better times for myself I keep a box of mres in the trunk for more long term sustenance

Well from a moral standpoint some of us actually want good for everyone.
From a world standpoint a more stable world means a more stable US. Case in point this American made turmoil in the Middle East is causing instability back in the US.
-1
u/Boring_Drama_4947 6h ago
Yes but it’s American made turmoil and it has been since the 90s. The destabilization of the Middle East is entirely our fault and we keep doing shit at home that will only make it worse. I deployed in 2019 and was expected to do war with months of no ammo resupply and shoddy food replenishment. The politicians we put in power make wild decisions that affect the rest of us and then forget about conclusion as soon as it becomes unpopular or inconvenient. USAID would be great if it all went to help people abroad, but it has to grease palms and pockets before it actually gets to the people it’s meant to help. Our country is a joke now and it’s a joke under democrats. Everyone downvoting me and wanting to suckle from the teat of democrats are delusional if they think a party change is going to unfuck our country.
2
u/Glittering_Ocelot_67 12h ago
Some of us still want to be able to travel and show our faces in other countries respectably proud of our home country that’s so rich and touted as the “best” for some reasons.
-1
u/Infamous_Ad8300 21h ago
There are people that recieve that money. They want it to keep coming.
-2
u/Boring_Drama_4947 20h ago
If an American is getting usaid money I’m all for it but let’s affix our own oxygen masks before we try to help others. America could be such a force for good but instead we’re… this

As contrasted with now, where the economy has never been better.

Two years ago Joe Biden was forgiving student loan debt and giving temporary protective status to at risk migrants, trans Americans could serve in the military and LGBTQ+ students had title IX protections.
The list of ways America was better is pretty fucking long.
