Kennedy embarrasses himself every time he opens his mouth. Watch a video of him before maga and he didn't talk like Foghorn Leghorn.
15
u/GayCatDaddy 19h ago
People who know him in real life have said in interviews that the Foghorn Leghorn voice is just a schtick he plays up to convince people that he's a good ol' country boy just like them.

dont worry, Trump will sign another executive order demanding that all previous times Kennedy embarrassed himself be wiped clean and forgotten so that he gets a clean slate like any good persons on this planet.

I mean I literally burst out laughing at that meme but I do feel a little bad because out of all the reactions there, hers is the only honest one.
It's like the Korean athlete in the Turkish dad meme. She's left-eye dominant shooting with a handicap! That's what all the crap is for, not some TURBO SKILL IMPROVER thing. It's a piece of paper and a ring to overcome a fundamental challenge to shooting.
Turkish Dad has one too! The glasses on his face!
Britt was REALLY surprised. Maybe there's hope of getting her to see some sense.

Oh for sure, but I think Britt actually thought it was for real. That's the penny dropping, in real time. She might bury it again, but ain't no question she understands what she's a part of now.
17
u/Novel-Letterhead-217 21h ago
Right, this is her realizing how epicly idiotic this was. I honestly think they thought that he would just plead the 5th like their dear leader would. Smith isnāt scared of any one of these idiots and their gotcha bullshit. The problem is on the right they only see the question and him looking confused, they cut that video and sent it to the magasphere immediately
24
u/paranormalresearch1 21h ago
The Republicans canāt win on truth. They have to manufacture a story and go from there. They are a cancer to society.
17
u/Novel-Letterhead-217 20h ago
Thatās why I think Talrico making a video of him calling Paxton to say he will debate on Fox News is so smart, it takes away from Paxton saying that he wonāt debate with liberal moderators and such. He is saying that he will come debate him on his turf because he knows he will destroy him on ideas. The entire republican platform for midterms is ājust give us a little more timeā while everything is going to hell
8
u/hyphenssuck 20h ago
I think these kind of stunts by Kennedy, guys like Paxton, Johnson being Johnson, Vance begging for "more time"... They're really just showing how badly the GOP is falling apart.
They're on borrowed time and I think at least some of them are starting to realize it.

Would anyone be willing to give me a brief synopsis of who the hell this woman is? I donāt even know her name or what is being referenced
Republican Senator Britt, of Alabama.
That's her face as she was watched her republican colleagues falsely accuse Jack Smith of perjury in a partisan show-hearing only to have it immediately backfire when it turned out they had missed basic facts that not only debunked their claims that Jack Smith was collaborating with Fani Willis, but made it clear that Republicans hadn't even done a cursory check before making the accusation. He was in a different state at the time they claim he collaborated with her. On camera, at a televised sporting event no less. Oops!
Sen. Kennedy went on to bungle his partisan attack when Smith pointed out that, no, they hadn't targeted republicans. They had targeted numbers that had contacted Trump while he was engaging in plainly criminal activity, and those numbers all turned out to be Republicans, including people calling him to ask him to halt the attack on the capital.
Note that the republicans in the senate, despite voting acquit Trump on the technicality that they cannot impeach someone no longer in office, plainly stated that Trump was responsible for the Jan 6 attacks.
This entire thing is a show trial to begin with, but the incompetence on display here is staggering even for MAGA.

The TPUSA morons with microphones have spun the whole thing into some kind of win for the GOP. Which fits, since they're playing for an audience that doesn't care about the truth anyway.
2
u/srz1971 16h ago
and in the lengthy testimony I saw, ātheyā got caught lying right then and there, knew it so abandoned the question. Klobuschar knocked a little sense his way, not that it stuck. The chairman expected silentāplead the fifthā compliance. Smith was having none of that. For all we know, this is one of those questions posed āto him later in writing he would b expected to answer toā. Direct closing quote from chairman after his little charade blew up in his face. The Aidās videos are hilariously spot on.
3
u/Sharikacat 15h ago
Schmitt's aids held up a posterboard of the blown up texts for only a few seconds and then didn't have a copy on a standard page for him to look at. This was designed to capture a gotcha moment to boost his VP ambitions, and he didn't expect the lie to be debunked literally right away. The truth would have otherwise come out a few days later and been lost in the news cycle.
