Yeah it's a little fun fact that not only chickens shed the bacteria salmonella but also ducks, turkeys, geese, all reptiles like snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoise and also amphibians like frogs, toads, salamanders AND pocket pets/rodents can carry it on their fur like hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, mice AND other farm animals can shed it in their manure from cows, goats, sheep & pigs which can easily cross contaminate them & their areas.
It's just that salmonella is mostly known for chickens because we mass consume their eggs.

Hedgehogs are a big one. They're the source of quite a few outbreaks in the last few years due to the rise in having them as pets.

That happened to my little brother at the cabin way back. Never will forget that one. My uncle just started pouring salt and the turtle did actually let go but holy shit. My bro learned what pain was that day.

That’s just dumb AF. I don’t know how many videos I’ve seen of people getting bitten by turtles or snakes.

And her turtle gave her a kiss in return. It was so adorable to watch.
Not to mention funny as hell. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha ha. 😆

Ah, I see where she went wrong.
You actually want to use a frog, not a turtle.
One turns into a price,
The other turns into a visit to the ER

Also when a giant holds me up to their mouth... and maybe it's just my reptilian hindbrain... but my first instinct is to avoid being eaten.

Someone who has no experience with reptile.
Man Tiktok is the #1 place to go for how to abuse reptiles. It's horrible. YouTube too. Almost no one who makes reptile videos knows anything about them, it's just the horrible "how to abuse your wa reptile" phanphlets PetSmart gives out.
99.99% of all people on Tiktok are monsters and pieces of shit. But this also applies to whoever is doing reptile videos and 99.99% are beyond abusive.
Every person on Tiktok is terrible. But the reptile people are actively abusing animals. Hell all of Tiktok is animal abuse central but man the reptile ones are the worst. This girl got bit because she's a horribly neglegent or abusive keeper, turtles aren't like that with decent owners. She belongs in jail.

I know a woman who's a teacher. They had small turtles in the school and one bit a child's finger and would not let go. The child was hysterical. They ended up cutting the turtles head off with some scissors and it's jaws were still locked on the finger. They eventually prised it off.

You are also not supposed to hold a turtle from the shell like that. They can feel it, if you pick up a turtle you should hold it from the bottom. She's literally ripping his shell off, no wonder he but her.
