The best part was the tap of a job well done by the security guy at the end

u/BustDemFerengiCheeks 21h ago
Probably a mix of that and "Okay, calm down bud, he's done." Security has seen what happens when they don't calm down.

Yeah thats an issue with some street fights. Sometimes they dont end just because the person goes down

Coward walked right by the big security guys and picked on the shorter guy he thought was weak, as all bullies do.

u/ILoveToVoidAWarranty 21h ago
I propose a new rule: if a drunk guy sucker punches you, and you retaliate and put him to sleep like that, you should then be entitled to reach into his pocket, grab his wallet, and empty it of any cash he might have on hand.

Under normal circumstances yes, but way too many witnesses for that here

Right side of face was already all fucked up. Dude who knocked out that fucker was just helping him balance out his face. Symmetry’s beautiful.

Justice served.

u/slava_slavaUa 21h ago
Hopefully he doesn’t get charged for that?

u/PickledCaterpillar 21h ago edited 19h ago
No one saw anything- a spontaneous outbreak and curing of severe cataracts happened to everyone involved, like with Hawaiian Batman.

u/audigex 5h ago
"The guy was a clear and present danger to those around, as evidenced by him attacking my client a few seconds earlier. My client used a reasonable amount of force in self defence and the defence of other people around. You'll note my client immediately stepped away once he was no longer a threat, there was no unreasonable use of force involved."
Pretty unlikely you're gonna get charged as long as you don't tell the police "Yeah I got mad and hit him", and even less chance you get convicted. I'd be more worried about the chances of an inconvenient night in the cells while it got cleared up

Dude was looking around for a target. Picked the short king, cuz drunk dude is a coward. And got rocked anyway lmao fuckin priceless

u/KonaValencia 22h ago
Security guard thought about stopping the guy that hit him, but gave him the ata boy after he had a sec to process
7
u/Evening-Statement-57 22h ago
Glad the big dude supported his buddy after the knock out.
3
u/Thin_Bother8217 21h ago
Doesn't even necessarily have to be his buddy. Dude who got knocked out was already in at least one fight, didn't learn his lesson, and attacked some (I'm guessing) random dude. Got knocked out for his trouble. If I saw that happen to some rando, I'd be like "good job" too.

u/HoldenOrihara 17h ago
Kinda felt like he was just like "hey, he deserved it but unfortunately you have to leave now"
13
u/Kris-p- 22h ago
i understand why he did it, i don't know if I would have
5
u/PostalMortem 22h ago
I feel like he felt the same way. thats why he kind of slow motioned into it. Just couldn't help himself.

I think I understand your dilemma. I'm not a fighter, but I'll defend myself. Not sure I would punch a drunk guy unless I had to.
→ More replies (5)7
u/itsaspookygh0st 22h ago
Yeah, he bangs his head on the way down and you could be looking at some serious trouble.
3
u/Event-Forsaken 22h ago
That's good point. I was just thinking about it from a point of pity, but yea, since you weren't under immediate danger, you could face some liability.
4
u/Horror_Tooth_522 22h ago
Considering he waited until drunkard looked his phone to punch then it probably weakens self-defence claim

He should think about that before getting drunk in public and punching strangers.
2
u/Onebraintwoheads 21h ago
Maybe he should, but the guy who punched him might still be looking at charges. The right or wrong of it doesn't matter much in the face of whether or not you're going to get locked up.

u/Faaacebones 22h ago
Young man needed to get KTFO more than he knows.
3
u/Medium_Stress_4293 22h ago
You're not wrong, but the trouble is that he won't have any memory of what happened. Hopefully someone shows him this video
2
u/Fool_In_Flow 21h ago
I mean, he can show himself. He’s recording the whole time.
2
u/Medium_Stress_4293 21h ago
Managed to point the phone in the other direction when he punched the guy that decked him.
4
u/TheDrunkWickerbeast 21h ago
Dude has been WAITING for an excuse to punch someone holy shit that was a solid punch
4
u/AhrinEss 21h ago
He needed that for his mental health. A valuable lesson was learned.

What actually happens to your body after a hit like this? do you sleep for a few seconds, minutes or hours? how does it recover? is it deadly?
2
u/xdewszqa 7h ago edited 5h ago
A hit to the jaw or side of the head makes the head rotate fast. That rotation stretches the brain and temporarily disrupts the networks that keep you conscious. It usually lasts for a few seconds/minutes.
Boxers and MMA fighters get knocked out all the time and recover, since they land on a padded canvas.
What can be deadly is the head hitting the concrete (skull fracture, internal bleeding..). You can also wake up quickly and seem fine, but have an internal bleed that gets worse over the next few hours.
EDIT: MMA/boxing ~10pct KO.

I saw this posted in another subreddit, the OP said that the dude in question was in a fight a few minutes before and while he got his ass beat (and was at fault, it was said he drunkenly started the fight), the other guy ran off. This is basically him acting proud and belligerent

The short dude has to be the calmest person in situation like this.
Calmly taking his time to find the button after eating a punch.

u/zeptillian 21h ago
I like the chest pat from the guy in black like nice work out there kid, now get back to your corner.

I had a friend like this in HS. Bro didn’t look like shit, he was short, curly hair, and pasty, but he was pound for pound one of the best wrestlers on the team. He liked getting general admission tickets to concerts and moshing with the biggest mfs. It was.. entertaining.

That’s in Madrid right next outside of the club Istar. Gotta be a drunk college kid abroad.

u/Front_Chicken_9567 8h ago
That’s Madrid ,most exclusive clubbing area and zone , a British exchange student super drunk saying things to people who probably don’t understand him .
Nothing new , most of this British /foreigners students gets very aggressive while drinking . You can see every week in Madrid , they usually ended like that

It’s not that hard to cold-cock a drunk guy. And it could he argued that the interval between the initial smack and the knockout negates self-defense. And if the guy he cold-cocked dies, the puncher could be on the hook for murder.

u/superhappykid 6h ago
The guy thought about it so long it looked like he was charging up a falcon punch.

We don't know what happened before, could be that he's the victims, look at his right face's side, it's bloody af, probably from his eyebrow.
That guy he pushed, maybe was one of the trouble makers.

Did the drunk guy already have blood all over his face? Seems like he’s been taught this lesson more than once on that day.

u/Tex_Tin_Star 1h ago
Hit somebody and then leave yourself wide open and not even pay attention to the knockout coming.
1
u/Selective_Ethics 1h ago
Everyone here is stupid. The person who initiates a physical altercation should be given a disproportionate amount of the punishment and physical result. You can't go assaulting other people then hide behind the law. Keep your damn hands to yourself. Had he not hit he'd not have gotten hit. Hopefully a deterrent for him and he will leave his hands off others.
