General Reminders
This revenue chart provides estimates for mobile platforms only, sourced directly from SensorTower. Revenue generated by the PC and Console versions of games, where applicable, are not included. As the Google Play Store does not exist in China, any estimates published in regards to China's Android revenue data are established using a multiplier based on the country's iOS revenue estimates. The chart published here is accurate as of the time of posting, but SensorTower may revise or adjust their estimates over the next few days. Numbers on the revenue.ennead.cc website may be subsequently updated to reflect those changes as necessary. Estimates do not take into account development costs or marketing expenses, and therefore do not directly translate to "profit" for the developers and/or publishers. While these estimates can be useful for gauging trends, they are not intended to be taken at face value as definitive revenue figures.

True, but let's be real infold might fuck up that one too knowing how it went for Xavier's new myth. They never publicly apologized and just fixed him under the table. But I think infold will be insanely careful for a while now because any more fuck ups and they might see people no longer bother to show up even for their mains
I'm a mixed bag. I dont expect the game to crater, but I think it's going to drop from its current heights to the bottom half of the top ten.
I do think that money-wise the biggest issue for LADS is probably how things look at Infold. From everything I know about it Valko must have consumed a TON of resources, which are now wasted. Probably enough to even make a dent in their revenue.
Well hopefully not. As visible as it is here it would be kinda terminally online if this was your first hint of it considering how the job market has been for a while.
Anni units always coinciding with the Summer units, yeah. I imagine half-anni next month will also bring in dough. That aside, Steam has been big for BA, even during Kei-Kei's banner it briefly topped the charts hitting 1st at one point apparently.
I mean within 24h this thing has gone insane.
The game has been reviewed bombed to hell, it's sitting at 1.1 stars pretty much everywhere now.
Petitions to being back Valko are up and ticking along, people are deleting the game or not logging in.... it's insanity.
I mean google classroom got attacked 5 years ago at this point, almost 6. I wonder if one of the developers keeps wondering: “Huh, why ever since 2021 does Google Classroom suddenly get thrown to hell and back every couple odd moments in the year? Hmmmm… weird!”
We Genshin players truly started a traditions that will never end
But I gotta say the 1st Genshin anniversary was genuinely THE most entertaining controversy ever, it was SO funny
From what I’ve seen, Lads was always ahead of Genshin on CN ios for all month and after the Valko thing it dropped below Genshin but not be a lot. Maybe it’ll still be fine if the whales still spend, they managed to get Valko out after all.
it would be interesting to see the CN revenue for LADS at least 2 months from now, after the whole valko issue is forgotten.. because I know theyre still mad about Valko's addition even tho he's already announced to be removed so there are still lingering effects.
so for the first month its still a combination of the Valko haters + Valko wanters both boycotting but for different reasons... it will be after the anger of the Valko haters goes back to the usual program that would be interesting to see
We won’t see the results until next month since the boycotts started at the end of the month, like you said. So they already had the money from the multibanner that had been released earlier in the month, along with Caleb’s birthday banner. But even if we see next month’s revenue, because of the double boycott from pro and anti Valko, we won’t know whose was more effective. The timing is off lol
From Tencent Otome conference about one of their games, "the loudest voice on Weibo (Social media) represent 20% of the players, listening to them is a bad idea".
The Valko announcement was made last week and the announcement that Valko is getting cancelled came out yesterday. Kinda hard to undo the money people already paid lol. I am interesting to see next month though because the LaDS subreddit is in shambles. I also checked both their English and Japanese instagram (and japanese youtube) and safe to say no one is happy, apparently many chinese are angry with the desicion too.
Gooner game forced to remove all the goon. Even if there are ways around it with patches for specific countries, why spend money on something that's just going to be changed later to something completely different you didn't buy with no refund? The ML and gooner skins were all it had making it stand out.
Give the Trickal and the chibis a go. Its the perfect side game to release your stress by pinching chibi soft and cute cheek. Not only that, this game for absolutely no reason has peak story that either make you ugly laugh or ugly cry.
I mean come on we celebrated Christmas on a wrong date while giving the entire elven race a mass PTSD.
And we had a moment of reality on how painful and lonely is life without a goal and why you should cherish and protect what you have.
It's always going to be the trend with this game. All 3 of these characters are DPS who is not a Void Hunter, that's a death sentence. Why pull verticals for any of them when an M0 VH is going to beat them easily and you only need 3 VH on 3 teams to clear endgame.
Normally you hook customers with an offer that is too good to be true. Thats why most streaming services operate at a loss for years before slowly increasing prices.
Endfield did the total opposite. They released the game and just said: here, enjoy the content drought, months of no endgame and the absolute minimum of free pull currency. The game is nowhere near EOS territory but holy shit are they trying.
I'm still so confused who the game is for. The story is nothing like the OG so it's not for OG fans. Game glazes the MC a lot but it's for mundane things like solving puzzles so it's not for the self insert power fantasy fans. The designs while more lewd than OG aren't super lewd so it's not for fanservice fans. And they don't have enough male characters for husbando fans. The game has no content requiring more than 1 team so the super meta focused players don't need to pull any new units for a while. The characters get 1 quest but the game isn't like Genshin that has events that give development to your mains and most of the cast is absent from the main story so there is also no reason to get attached to the characters. It's a mess this game will limp along but it needs a massive 2.0 for the game to be able to compete
they hated him as he spoke the truth. It is funny seeing how defensive people got about his criticisms and yet everything he predicted and warned about happened. Most people bashing him never watched any of his videos and instead just resorted to a knee-jerk reaction to any criticism by resorting to strawmanning and personal attacks.
Hey hey slow down on that part about the MC glazing. Sometimes they hold their hand out and yell and then rocks appear and then get destroyed soon after and the villain goes "Haha you weak" before disappearing in some fuck off portal or something!
I really thought Endmin doing that overloading thing while stoning Nefarith would put him out of commission and we'd have a scene of him recovering slowly, especially after all the Perlica prodding and statements of 'not overdoing it, the mask is already working non-stop to help you recover' during the same quest.
But not, he just stumbled a bit and was right as rain immediately after, even though he just summoned a literal mountain of Originium to cover the entire city.
"Endministrator, the pear you’re eating comes from a tree you planted in your past life. The company you see—you founded it yourself. The universe we live in began with you. Your neighbor, that sweet grandmother—you once started her lineage, though you don’t remember. You even defined fluid dynamics, and your simple idea of using pipes to move water between tanks revolutionized everything—people were stunned watching it flow. All living things here trace back to you. You chose to forget, so you could remain fair. You are the source, constant, and the best of what exists."
Yeah, in the OG arknights people treat you with the respect you deserve as the representative of what is basically a paramilitary megacorporation but it doesn't fawn over you in such a blatant and undeserved way.
In a way its very funny how WuWa after the Black Shores kinda sidestepped how Rover is tied to Solaris
Like yes they founded the Black Shores but Thetys was already there, they helped with the Somniore but it was another civilization that built it, they made a covenant with Imperator to leave them alone and create their own mess. They were a teacher at the Accademy but not for long and the main goal of the journey is to fuck off back to Home
It's been ages since Wuwa 1.X but I feel like Endministrator is what a lot of people mock Rover is like, without the combat expertise however, it's just glaze for everything we don't know because the MC has amnesia
Actually now that i think about it, even the doctor from OG Arknights also did the amnesia thing but people who knew them hated their guts and doubted them for a different reason (wether they'd be cruel and send them to their deaths) but knew they were very capable, it was intriguing at least and then the writing kept getting better and better... I dunno, I feel like people are extra critical because it's freaking Arknights, they had OG Arknights as experience and the writing was amazing only to have this 1.X experience, the expectation was off the charts (PGR also has good writing but Arknights was more popular)
Im half expecting to find out next patch that no one knew how to breathe until Endmin taught them to, it's a weird form of glazing. I'm a critic of the second half of Amphoreus in HSR and its constant MC glazing. But I get the appeal I understand why someone would enioy that, but for Endmin? I genuinely don't get it I cannot see how that form of glazing is appealing
As an OG AK player of 5+ years, Endfield went in a direction that a lot of regulars feared it would take. The game has no identity of its own, is too afraid to drift back into the political storytelling Arknights was known for, and doesn't want to alienate their more traditional gacha audience with more techwear designs and non traditional characters. There is just no appeal to the preexisting fans besides maybe being a super niche and specific 'botw-like' alternative, although, I feel it came too late to even be considered that.
Also the combat is very repetitive, once you figure out the optimal combo for your team you are going to be repeating it until the heat death of the universe.
And people were claiming it was a breakthrough over the "rotation slop" of genshin/wuwa, only to realize it's the same thing but now you only pilot one unit 99% of the time
I've seen fans of OG claiming they dumbed down stuff to appeal to fans of Genshin or Wuwa - and as someone who plays both, I have no idea where is that appeal. Story feels weaker than either of them, I don't find combat or exploration appealing and then we have 'press X to close window saying what to press to close window' tutorials. Base was fun but it felt there is not much to do.
This non stop Edmin glazing needs to stop that's where they needed to start, its ruining the players experience especially with how little they show and so much they tell. Feels like playing wuwa but without the "dev listened" gimmicks and 10 times chores to do with little to no benefits
I know Endfield is currently finding its footing, but ngl it would be very funny if OG Arknights just consistently tops Endfield in revenue. So all Endfield really does is an expensive and playable Arknights advertisement lol
Yeah, that is true. Not sure how spending habits are for most AK players, but for Endfield I think they said early on that revenue was like 70% from PC. Might have included consoles as well but I cant remember that.
next month I really want to see the numbers cause it's gonna be a standard banner+mlp collab on cn while global has the wang/chen3 banner vs 0.5 anni for enfield.
Yeah it shows now that the market is saturated and everyone found their niche to play and stay. Im willing to bet that every new high budget Gatcha will from now on at best do mediocre numbers cause the players who are invested in their games wont just leave them and most people dont have the money to play 2 or more gatchas while spending on all of em.
Its still crazy when i look at all those numbers which are in the end only fractions of what people really spend on all those games and im stunned how much money the Gacha Industrie is making.
Arknights still beating Endfield despite Endfield having two new banners this month and there isn't a missing sales data like what happened during Zhuang's banner or dead month with no new banner excuse to hide behind this time, unc still got it. Real question is, what will it take for Endfield to turn the tide of it's launch player drop off and bring back the crowd?
yeah but i don't think infinity nikki and Lads have the same emotional attachment value for it's player and that's what most important for these kinda game
You're right, the attachment is even worse in LADS. A lot of people are attached to the Nikki series, but LADS is coded to be as parasocial as possible. The crazy CN girlies that wanted Valko removed aren't even fully happy, they keep demanding that Infold confirm all the LIs are straight and that LADS is female-oriented. And once Infold caves to that, they'll keep demanding other random stuff and take control of the controversy again now that Papergames has a PaperSpine
It was so focused at appealing to vague "mainstream audience", they forgot to add anything that separates them from all other 3D OW gachas and gives you a reason to play EF specifically. And said "mainstream audience" mostly dumped it after running around a bit with "the worst gacha system ever".
Yeah one issue with how fast HSR evolves the meta and powercreep is how they cripple the potential sale of re-runs. You might get some people trying to upgrade their Cyrene or Phainon to E2 now, but pulling an E0S0 Phainon now is a poor investment compared to all the shiny new DPS.
And this is Phainon's 2nd rerun so value is much lower than first. Robinetto leaks might bump Cyrene if she ends up having some synergy with her, but for now Cyrene is mostly a CH bot in a post-CH meta apart from a few niche ult refill strats in other teams.
Reruns just don't do much in HSR lol, compared to Genshin where full reruns could still make it to top 10 CN iOS. Blade does just ok in China while doing well in JP. HSR meta just cycles too quickly + players have been burned by it.
My mindset has changed over the course of playing. These days, if I miss a DPS I like on release, I will just play them in CW and move onto the next best one. Not worth the rerun unless it's a blatant main push lol
It's true for me too. Cas monorem is an extremely good team? Well too bad I couldn't get Cas and Hyacine on their first banner, and by now even though they're still strong, I'd rather pull elation or new Himeko to have similar performance AND endgame shill too. Unless it's a vertical I missed from earlier banners it's just not smart to pull them unless you like them ofc. And well, if I liked someone I'd already prioritized them on release, so the cycle continues
After much pain (I hate her flowers) I've built our adorable zombie, and those are some nice buffs. - they work pretty well with Sandrone and even if new unit will take her spot, decent new healer is always appreciated.
I think the underdog Milliastra helps genshin even out their revenue aside from banner sales. Ngl sometimes i forget it even exists lol, but i think they must be selling those fully paid expensive gacha skins to someone
Yeah Lohen is honestly some of the most attention I have seen a character get in a LONG time in Genshin like I'm seeing him outside of gacha circles, which is rare. I feel like this banner did really well for someone who kind of came out of nowhere and was dumped right before Snez with a miserable kit.
Ever since Genshin got Miliastra Wonderland, they have pretty consistent earnings. People have two banner systems to spend on now. Even on "off" patches, they still rake in money.
Yep, I had a shit ton of friends in my large HSR friend group quit after 3.4 and never came back. Some checked out 4.0 but still felt burned out from Amphoreus, and I think new players are gonna struggle to ever get through it. Even if you can skip it, you're missing a ton of important story thats bogged down by like 50 hours of bloat.
What makes it more impressive is that most people probably bought stuff like Passes or Miliastra costumes in previous month, so this is just Lohen, Mavuika and Welkins.
As expected, this month was horrendous for Stella Sora.
Sparkla (Big boobs hag that was never mentioned before the patch) didn't sell well. Tbh, even her own event didn't try to sell her, since the two loli got way more screentime.
And the fact that she's just a sidegride of a Standard Trekker didn't help for the META players.
I'm amazed that YOSTAR is really adamant of not changing ANYTHING, like everything is perfect under the sun. Sure, they released a small ninja Dev Notes a few days ago (they didn't post it on Twitter for some reasons btw), but they just say to be hype for Summer, they are working on a new mode (no date), and that the next story chapter is in production. I mean, yeah, but that's... not much. Not even a Summer Livestream to hype us.
We're at a point where the situation is so fucked up only a huge overhaul of pretty much everything could save the game. If only the devs could at least acknowledge the situation and try to reassure us... instead of doing whatever they are doing in secret like we didn't exist.
Destiny Rising is a game that gonna EoS soon. That game release a season 5 without a content and only event and netease didn't even bother localize it to english. The CN server is dead, only global players bother to give this game money.
The calm before the storm for Nikke rn, Ark Ranger did better than expected since she was the only character released this month, three weeks event for a very niche character. Next banner is 3 weeks summer event, revenue is about to skyrocket
(Those alt are the reason Nikke account got nukes from socials LMAO)
No matter how you cut it. LaDs has been at a decline in spending.
This chart is inaccurate, sure, but you can see from the trends and averages that LaDs is in no way peaking like it did in 2025. Its averages are considerably low from last year as well.
Now add this shitstorm in China. Whales are quitting en masse and boycotting - paying media to negatively cover the game. The game has gotten insane review bombs, customer complaints, state-owned legal bodies and consumer rights are breathing down the company.
This isn't the average boycott you see in Genshin, hell it isn't the anniversary dramas from it and WuWa. This is BIG.
This game will DROP in revenue next month, I can almost guarantee it, they have addressed nothing and the situation has no signs of stopping.
My perception of Chisa being "serious and level-headed" has been destroyed by these memes lmao
It doesn't help that Kurogames makes her say some shit like "I don't know why I'm here. I don't even know what's going on" as an actual dialogue in-game.
Well well, as expected Endfield is performing kinda poorly. They dropped the ball SO hard with that game it's mindblowing. Worst story AND worst MC (that is really a commemorable achievement) of all the 3d gacha, early filler patch, shit events, shit pull economy, super tedious factory rebuilding. It's just mindblowing.
FGO moving up 2 spaces despite making $10mil less than the previous month is so funny to think abt lol. oh my beloved unc gacha game that causes me no end of both stress and joy still got it goin 🥰💕
