also zzz had the top up reset. assuming most people didn’t spend in june and waited til the new patch which makes it seem a lot more of a significant jump
Even if they brought back Valko I'd still have very hard time trusting their company ever again. In kneeling down to CN lunatics who got him removed their vision has been tainted.
Let me explain, I'm not sure how to trust them anymore in future that story won't be touched, that cards etc. won't be modified or censored.
With Genshin, even if sometimes it can be frustrating, Mihoyo follows through with story or with their vision/direction instead of letting CN fanbase control them.
ToT had 6th anniversary (CN) which had the Agatha Christie collab (and from what I hear it's a banger and a focus on mystery and romance) and global had 5th anniversary which was the wedding banner.
ToT costs nothing. The game brings the publisher several million net income per month. The game doesn't even have a separate development or marketing team, it's so cheap to produce.
I've said it before, but if they are keeping Honkai 2 around, I don't see a reason to kill HI3rd (even if it's clearly been put on a back burner).
HI3rd allows the devs to try out mechanics and minigames before putting them into a "main" game (Like how Fall Valks was clearly redone for the BangBoo fall guys) plus it's such good marketting for their current games longevity.
What does it matter if Genshin is 6+ years old? It's not to late to start as if they are keeping HI3rd for 10+ years, they'll be keeping Genshin around etc.
This reminds me of around 10 years ago, I was playing Final Fantasy 15 on the PS4, while playing FF Brave Exvius on my phone and FF War of the Lions on a tablet. True inner peace.
They need to start a new RAM factory soon, otherwise in a few more years time, lots of players living in third world countries will spend less due to high hardware costs.
apparently there’s an announcement (i think for the google playstore?) where they accidentally leaked Rafael’s new myth name, but they haven’t officially posted about it on socials. they just keep doing stuff silently without announcement since each post gets jumped 😶
They removed it shortly after people discovered it. I think they just forgot to change the timed release description, during the midst of all this chaos.
Nope nothing. Global has largely been ignored by Infold. The latest I saw from people posting from CN social media is that Infold is taking legal action against those who started the hate campaign and because minors are possibly involed, that could make things even more complicated. Valko passed the government test. Whatever happens next, Infold must surely know that trust amongst global players is now broken and will never be easily regained, even if Valko is released as he was.
Really surprising that Velina didn’t earn much considering she’s a new element and is joined by the hip with Ramielle because of her triple Anomaly requirement.
I personally pulled Velina because I liked playing with new elements even before I knew her synergy with Ramielle. Kinda sad that none of the other selling points like new element and unique roles matter as much as the title of a Voidhunter.
Seen a picture of the revenue history ZZZ had and it's been always like that, that even the dedicated supports for tge Void Hunters do not earn that much.
But same reason for me why I ended up pulling for Velina.
Their optimization in mobile is insane too, I still have my potato phone from 2019 and it's still runs HSR and Genshin no problem but there's a lag sometimes but honestly I can still play the both two games.
Digimon UP making that much is insane. Like seriously? Over 5M for this game? Insanity. Really shows how good a Digimon IP could be if Bandai didn't keep fucking it up.
Trickcal holding up tight despite just coming out of Renewa is good to see, also Nikke side doing great, those Cindy and Marciana alts, plus, Little Mermaid's gacha skin look great.
Pokemon TCG seems like a bigger fumble. They could just spend a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of what Hoyo spends on their games to keep the game on top making 5x what it does now. Yet they just let the game slide down in the equivalent of maintenance mode for a Hoyo-level title.
Sandrone + MoonGazers World Quest combo was diabolical this patch. 100% deserved that 55M. I loved the management event mini games too.
I had low expectation since there was no Summer Island trademark event, but that Moongazers quest was an insanely good replacement. Best World Quest in Genshin for me easily. I was left crying by the end on top of that tower.
It was beautiful and makes sense why it had to be voices.
I still hope for some others to get this treatment - I'd love to hear A Long Day in the Mountains or some from Nod-Krai (at least we've got Reed Miller audio drama).
