this September was expected to be 25+ million actually. at least that was what someone believed. you gotta see how many paywalled items in the game rn, the brand new anticipated multibanner they currently run, and you'd laugh and point that this is can only adds up 2M from last month with much less event
From the looks of it, they only made 2 million difference compared to last month. And for all of their banners, they would easily get above 20 millions every month, but this time they couldn't get any, even when;
Most anticipated multibanner + new paywalled shit + top up reset + limited cumulative top up rewards called the "GRATITUDE POINTS" = expected to make at least 30 million.
BUT they didn't make it past 20.
So that says a lot. They happened to get top 5 because all the other gachas aren't doing so well either, we're in that season now.
They used to always been in the top 3. And to earn 40-50 millions on average. They lost at least 50% of that.
They still earn a lot compared to many gacha games, but for the company itself it’s very much not it
The difference is that Hoyoverse has very different sources of income, and as you will probably see, one of their game is always top 3. Genshin and HSR are still the top earning gacha after 6 and 3 years respectively. And Hoyo is the leading company of the gacha game genre.
For Love and Deepspace it’s different, it’s the cashcow for Infold, if they lose a lot of money here, Infinity Nikki will not be able to sustain that.
I don’t really know what is your point.
I'm not denying that LaDS is the only gacha in decline and I am not aware of every gacha revenue.
Even if Hoyo has many projects and expenses, I really don’t think the comparaison between Infold and Hoyoverse makes much sense in this context.
- Hoyo's decerase is "Gradual", and part of it is from them expanding new games. LADS tanked in like 2 months
- Genshin around Natlan (or Fontaine end) was hit with iOS 30% Tax debuff.
- Most Hoyo games now have their own top up which have better deals.
So all things considered, Genshin especially still being this high is WEIRD, it's an anomaly. That means it has so many revenues that a lot people still top up even with worse deals.
The ranking on the chart is relative to how all of the other gachas are doing. However, on a normal month with what was released in September, LaDS should have reached number 2 at least or possibly number 1 on the chart.
It did affect the game though, they went all out for September but still couldn't breakthrough into the top 3 like they used to. If there wasn't a controversy, they could've easily gotten Top 1 or 2 with 50 - 70 mil like last time.
I mean, comparatively it made way less than it would have any other time.
This is a birthday card, an anticipated rerun, a spending event and a new multi banner all in one. And it couldn’t even make 20 mil. Like I thought it would at least make 25
Pretty sure some folks still stuck as the other characters are still their favs or just that there is no other high quality game as option to play in that genre.
Almost like the "controversy" is played up by global.
Edit: downvoting me won't change reality that only global cares about Valko. It's ironic, I remember the day he was released the subreddit didn't vibe with his looks at all. It was a sense of feeling underwhelmed but it's convenient how fast people forget.
My argument is that the data is incomplete. IOS is a much smaller market than Android in CN. So the data is excluding a large part of the market and it also excludes the top-up shop on both global and CN sides.
The data does show a trend downward, that is useful still but it’s difficult to make conclusive statements using data that is this incomplete.
Haha lmao. Reminder than LaDS averages around 30-40M for multibanners and myths, and have had no no. 1 peak on CN gaming charts since Valko's cancellation. So stay in your delulu world.
Global, the only server who needed a gaming company to baby them because they can’t comprehend fictional garnishes made from ingredients you are unlikely to find in any household. CN/JP/KR never even mentioned it because they actually have common sense
Be less proud of needing labels to not drink shampoo. EN is too sad and bitter lol
defending them are we 🤦 you do realize some countries can buy Daturas for £2? Saying "never mentioned" is a bold statement when there are screenshots of chinese players complaining that domestic area is not addressed
Look at the general sentiment, literally no one is paying attention to it, so much so that Infold doesn’t even post a disclaimer on CN. Anyone who posts it only getting made fun of lol
It’s like going to a florist and buying obviously inedible plants to eat, cheap doesn’t mean common nor should any adult be randomly eating any plant they can get. Are you all toddlers if that’s what you think of doing?
Oh boy, y'all are really defending them don't you ?
Even if people would be stupid for that, I don't want them to be poisoned.
The garnishes are NOT fictional, and for many countries over the world, you can actually find those in nature, garden and parks. You can also buy it directly sometimes. So if someone had no idea that those were poisonous and wanted to recreate their LIs signature drinks, they could.

Why is deep space still so high? I thought it was being plagued by controversy
