All i can say is that the kind of people you find in reddit or twitter are not representative of the overall player base. Not even close. The average player p2p or not didnt even know about the recent outrage.
How have to be a very specific minority of player to have an opinion about the "issues" in HSR, you have to be either a F2P who is really deep in the game and doesn't just play casually or a P2P with so much expendable income that you spend without liking the core game. Most F2P are too casual, and despite what many think a lot of P2P can only afford to spend on a game they genuinelly like.
This is true, but even f2p players who plays the endgame won't quit, because endgame is endgame. It isn't the whole game. We enjoy other stuff beside the endgame, like the story and characters.
It is a very quick game to play. I do not care if I miss 300 jades every few months.
Problem is you need to do both horizontal and vertical now. The only reason I'm struggling with this PF is because I didn't pick the archetypes that are shilled this cycle. I have 4 6-7 cost teams with sig LCs and no E2s, but only 2 of them have buffs so I'm at like 26k on the third one. On top of that even the flagship Ela team is kinda ass, SW with premium members and LCs only did 32-33k when the Rem team during Amph got 40k every time in 2 cycles max with the same investment. (This was before Pearl, haven't tried with her yet.)
This PF is just way overtuned, it knocked everyone down a tier in general. I also saw a bunch of people complain about their scores with E2S1 DPSs dropping to my older 4.x scores from their comfy 40k clears.
Not that it really matters, but this is the reason I don't even get the monthly/pass in HSR. In other games they get me a 90%+ collection and comfy endgames, in HSR I could get like 2 of my DPSs to E2 each year and that's it lmao.
No even as to 4.6. for any F2P the only right way to play is pull horizontally. E2 is for spender not even an option for f2p to beat all endgames. the complainers are ppl only login once every year or quit for 2 years and come back but somehow thinking they should still clear all endgames lol
Correct, because the LADS situation affected not the loud minority, but the most dangerous thing - the quiet majority.
The current HSR situation affects literally a certain layer of meta slaves, who scream that they can't clear some content for one reason or another.
Not only is this a minority, but this situation doesn't affect Whales and the majority at all, who don't really experience FOMO about endgame.
I mean this isn't much of a surprise though, we all know the spending curve isn't distributed across the playerbase, you could delete 95% of any gacha game's playerbase and the revenue number wouldn't budge because the last 5% are the whales dropping easily 1000x more per month than most players would ever spend in the entire game's lifetime.
Like all those complainer are type of people who just does not want to put effort into game, they think just cuz elation is being shilled there is no way f2p could clear with e0s0 which is straight up lie, I only pulled aglaea, the herta, phainon e0s0 in 3.x when remembrance was being shilled but I still manage to clear all endgames with these units, and with sustain like fu Xuan and Loucha like fr, when people were saying you absolutely need hyacine if you want to surive, I just skipped her and did not faced any problem, only if that loud minority can put same effort into game they will finally understand they don't need full e2s1 teams to clear normal endgames.
im f2p and max star everything since loucha banner in 1.2 , more than f2p they just bad at games, because hsr (and most gachas) are braindead easy , you have to try hard to not beat endgame with the available reosurces
while the complains have real basis to stand on hp inflation is real (and is increaisng pretty fats lately) and powercreep also real, tho in the 1,x to 2.x era was wya bigger woth acheron doing 3 or 4 more times damage than dan il or jingliu, nowdays elation etams dont do 3 tiemes more damage than a rem team at all so powercreep is pretty tame compared to the past
hsr, zzz, nte, wuwa are all easy af to keep up as f2p to do all endgame (i say those because are the oens i played for long tho i quit wuwa and nte not so long ago) so i have to assume most gachas are eays af

Because the ones complaining are 99% f2p or light spenders being loud. Although the complaints are valid it won't do anything
