Could be a coincidence, but North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has executed at least 358 people since taking power in late 2011 through December 2024, according to a report by the Seoul-based human rights organization Transitional Justice Working Group. Key Details on the Executions • Total Documented Deaths: The group documented 136 execution events resulting in at least 358 deaths. When including unconfirmed death sentences, the number reaches 367 individuals across 144 cases. •Methods and Transparency: Over 70% of the documented executions were carried out publicly, primarily by firing squads using rifles or machine guns.

That's actually a reasonably low number, as far as dictators go.

I suppose, but he immediately killed his mentor and uncle by shooting him with an artillery shell from less than a hundred meters away. Also, it's a Communist state. We don't know the true numbers for sure. You're correct, it could be worse.

What's the point of being a supreme leader if you can't take out at least one person with an artillery shell from close range? Sometimes you just like to mess around and have fun to let off a little steam.

Not by 1 man's authority, though. Even though half our nation, riddled with TDS, would attempt to argue. This is not people breaking regular laws, then being punished for the crime by laws that are on the books. These are whims and personal grievances .
