This has happened to me a few times and I usually say nothing. Even if it feels “safe” with that particular lady, one can never be sure in the workplace so just don’t.

My job is worth more than being fired for misunderstanding about what a person meant by something that sounded like an invitation.

She can be explicitly clear, or no invitation actually happened and it was just a joke.

Yup how the turn tables. I don’t always mind though, part of why I think it’s true that women get more socially acceptable space to creep out on dudes, especially the thirsty-late-middle-age gals
