ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ My insurance keeps denying my RX for my allergic reaction due to lack of “medical necessity”
My insurance keeps denying my doctor’s prescription request because they require proof of medical necessity before approval. The pictures I’ve sent apparently don’t fit the bill of necessary medical needs 😅 (first picture is the day I broke out, second is a week later)
ETA: thanks for all the advice! I can’t keep up with the comments. I feel so dumb when it comes to insurance stuff so I’m relying heavily on my doctor. They have submitted another appeal so hopefully that goes through and I get the RX.
ETA2: y’all I did not expect this to blow up, I was just very annoyed that the insurance I pay for says I can’t have a medication that my doctor says I need without jumping through a million hoops. The folks telling me I am not providing enough context need to chill…shouldn’t my doctor saying I need this medication after a few others didn’t do anything be enough?
