I'm playing it right now (after starting in 2019), and constantly thinking about how it's one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen.

To this day, I don't think there are many games that come even close in terms of visuals and colours.

If you own the original game. They're certainly earning money on this with new people buying the game, otherwise they wouldn't have done it. The question is whether they would've earned more money by taking money for the remaster.

They are however earning an immense amount of goodwill.

Hard to prove something that didn't happen, but the likely answer is "probably".

But at least to this point, CDProjeckt Red has proven to generally make very customer friendly decisions on the overall, even if they do have some bungled releases.

At least for now, they are still one of the good ones and I'm happy to support these games with purchases until the pull a Activision or EA.

Good place to save polys; a tiny model that quickly moves off camera when you get close to it. I'd rather have ugly pigeons and more fps, personally.

They have paid mods in their games, they want you to use the latest version, always.
It would be so messy to keep multiple versions of Creation Club, for everyone, them and modders and they would have to officially support all branches.
So, it's probably never gonna happen.
