Why do I feel like this ends in a massive ad campaign run by big Testosterone, right wing talk radio and Elon that somehow makes all of them a shit ton of money?

I think it's important to remember that Hegseth is a true believer in apocalyptic violence against the left. The grift may be a bonus to him but he really has a vision and end goal he's trying to reach here. He's probably the most dangerous American right now because of the position he holds and the insane personal beliefs.
