Putting the US military under the command of foreign national with no experience?

Also an extreme conflict of interest since he’s an active government contractor

It’s just absurd on so many levels, it’s almost hard to process how insane this is.

It’s absurd unless you consider a possible alternative agenda this brain trust may have, to focus on strategy for shifting the allegiance of military leadership towards the administration as they consolidate their power amidst the chaos they sow.

This is all coming as they are preparing to purge 20% of generals and other military leadership. This is no coincidence.

The Military Industrial Complex stepping out from the shadows, anarcho-capitalism at it's finest, and a major step towards the neo-feudal state they dream of for the future.

just in time for midterms too. I could see an active roll out on US soil

Even if we get a Blue Tsunami in November, things are liable to get very, very scary and dangerous afterwards.

Nothing more dangerous than a cornered animal and that's exactly what these fascists are.

Elon can just say that he will give every soldier a million dollars if they vote republican and they keep the house and senate. Then not pay on a technicality

Exactly. Gotta remove anyone who might get in the way of the coming coup when trump doesn't leave in '29. He can't or he'll go to jail, that's one of the main motivators for running again in '24 in the first place. That and all the graft since he legally doesn't need to face the voters again so he can be as openly corrupt as he wants. But I don't think people really comprehend what's likely coming. That "ballroom is national security" line, while completely stupid, isn't untrue, it's likely to be a bunker system armed to the teeth. He'll be dug in like a tick and the flames needed to remove him will require exponentially more flame than the average parasite.

Also normalizing corporate influence/control because their goal is to break the US government entirely and carve the country up into corporate fiefdoms.

And an election about to come…

  • There are no rules anywhere.
  • All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.

Would you like an apple?

I'd say this whole thing is double plus ungood

The Party and Eris have always been at war. But at least they can agree that they have never been at war.

There are no rules anywhere.

This is a self-defeating claim. It contradicts itself.

I reject your nihilism.

It's a reference to a book trilogy called "The Illuminatus! Trilogy." It inspired a mock religion called /r/discordian ism, which embraces absurdity and contradiction as aspects of humanity and places humanity above reality where conflicts exist. It's anti-nihilist. It's also anti- /r/Absurdism because it's extremely "people actually kind of matter" focused.

Ah, I see. Pretty niche reference. Clearly I’m  not familiar with it.

It's a fun book series and worth a read IMO. It's a bit jarring to read, the style is modern enough, and the pacing is good, but it's a bit trippy. It's a cult classic.

I’ll check it out. Always looking for a good rec. and it sounds interesting.

It did make me think for a minute. So I do appreciate that. Thought I might have been stroking out for a second.

Not if you read at the average national level of what is it, 5th to 6th grade? At that point its quite easy to process actually because you can't comprehend it.

u/_Phil_McCracken_ Washington 16h ago

I misread that at first. Ignore my previous comment.

There are no rules

Only because Americans let him get away with whatever he wants

1

u/soba_set 17h ago

Don't need to process it. Need to do something about it.

1

u/bejammin075 Pennsylvania 14h ago

Yeah, even after 10 years now of stupidity and insanity on a daily or weekly basis, this is quite a stunning new level.

1

u/TheVog Foreign 8h ago

What's absurd and insane is that Americans haven't done shit about it yet!

u/Absolute--Batman 18h ago

Another day for Spineless Americans that won't do anything except whine online.

4

u/notanolive 17h ago

Yeah imma go and take down the federal government, let me just buy a ticket to dc from half way across the country and start a revolution. Even if I got 100, 200 people to agree on a death march we’d accomplish nothing. Easy to throw stones from the comfort of your own home

2

u/_Phil_McCracken_ Washington 18h ago

Because what you’re doing isn’t spineless whining?
