There is no basis for the idea that Elon Musk and New Gingrich are “the best forecasters of future conflict.”

This kind of talk from Hegseth demonstrates huge disrespect for those who actually understand and execute international relations and military actions. It's also huge disrespect to us as American constituents.

I hear you, but I don't think Newt Gingrich is on this panel because of his military or engineering expertise. He's along for the ride to lobby and secure congressional funding. The only thing he knows about the future is who's going to fund it.

Imagine devoting your entire life to your military career, attending West Point, climbing the ladder and putting in the work to become a general.

And now you have to stand by and watch as a drunk ex-TV host appoints a 83 year old former politician, ketamine addicted moron, and a literal chode in a Hawaiian shirt to decide your future.
