You didn't even mention that he's a foreign national and a drug addict. I'm not sure any movies ever predicted something so stupid. Even in Idiocracy, the military leaders were Americans.

Pete is also a failed solider that didnt have any warfare quals.... no airborne, no air assault, and no ranger school (tab). he was an infantry guy with no quals. talks about lethality because he was a poser/pogue

I worked with a Marine vet at my last job. When he heard Hegseth was going to head up the DoD, he just put his head in hands & said, “Ugh, that fucking guy.” Apparently word had gotten around about his drunken antics since they were both in the Middle East around the same time.
