There are lots of civilians who have careers in this kind of thing. People that work in think tanks who do nothing but research and theorize practical scenarios for stuff like this. People that understand better than almost anybody how fucked things can get, and how fast. A guy I watch on youtube used to be in one. There are much better options for this sort of thing than 3 degenerate morons.

Civilian leadership of the military is actively proving to be a load or horseshit. Why should civilians be afraid of a service member lead military when the civilians in power are seemingly capable of far more heinous deeds?
