Newt Gingrich?! The guy who’s 83 and resigned from Congress in 1999??!

Let that sink in… he left Congress 27 years ago. He has never served in the US military. He’s been out of office for longer than many of our recruits have been alive.

And the “other one” isn’t elected, has never served, AND clearly doesn’t give a shit about how US government or military works, sooo…

Hey, take that back. Elon Musk does care about how the US military works when it comes to procurement contracts for things he sells

I have a sneaking suspicion that there's going to be a massive procurement contract for Cybertrucks fitted out as technicals in the very near future.

There almost was last year, but their CEO kept stealing too much of the limelight from the President in the news, so the deal got shelved: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a63785649/tesla-state-department-armored-vehicle-contract/

Hey take that back. It makes it seem like he might have some shady interest in deciding where the military should go because he sells things with military potential, when thats OBVIOUSLY not the case.
