Loss Officially Broke
Bye y’all for a couple of years until I arrange some capitol and become disciplined. Losing it all was the only way to stop trading and rethink the path I was going down.

Did 1,900 trades in 9 months. Am I overtrading? PnL is net of fees.
Good to note that each fill counts as a trade - so a single limit order could count as 2-3 trades.

Month 4 of trading options. No changes to 'strategy' from my previous posts, but I've been comfortable holding more contracts, holding contracts longer and generally slightly less risk averse, I think because of the obvious kangaroo action we saw this month. I did miss the random +1% monday we had in September because I was in court and yea I'm still pissy about that.
Hindsight is easy, but generally in September calls when SPY was below 763 and puts above 770 couldn't lose.
I'm 50k away from the big boy tax bracket so I will have to slow down soon If I don't start losing money.

Nike earnings are literally tomorrow and it feels weirdly silent. Nobody is talking about this stock.
MU just reported a monster quarter and somehow still sold off after earnings, so now I’m wondering what Nike could possibly say tomorrow that would actually save this stock.
What would it take?
A massive earnings beat?
Revenue coming in strong?
Better margins?
China finally showing signs of life?
Or would the market just pump it for a day and dump it right back down?
And is there any bears in this ? At this point I’m more interested in knowing who is buying Nike down here than who is selling it.
I still think Nike is a dead stock. Even if they beat tomorrow and we get some stupid 10–15% earnings pump, I honestly don’t see what fundamentally changes the longer-term picture.
I could obviously be completely wrong, but I still think this thing eventually sees $20 over the next year or two.
So what actually saves Nike tomorrow? And who is buying this at $35?

I’ve been holding myself so far but thinkin of loading a couple dozen treasury /ZBZ26 contracts with roughly 10k collateral on each so that would provide a 10x leverage on the long end of the yield curve. Each /ZBZ26 contract controls 100k USD worth of exposure on the 30-year treasury.
What do y’all think how low TLT or ZROZ may go before Uncle Sam starts losing its shit? I think it’s starting to bottom. Ofc, no one knows but trying to see what’s the consensus.

While streaming Micron earnings to the Discord, I once again got asked to put Subway Surfers or some other brainrot up to help people stay focused. After thinking back to when I opened an Nvidia Enterprise Support Ticket during one of my first earnings calls with them to complain about the terrible conference room microphones (which they replaced for the next earnings call), I decided to email Micron Investor Relations to offer a suggestion on behalf of the other WSBers struggling to make it through another MU earnings call.
I'll follow-up in the event that I get a response. Here's hoping I actually get one.

33.42 EPS vs Expected 31.61?
54b in rev expecting 61.5 next quarter...
This is insane value p/e right now.

I’m 23M and I’ve lost all of my life savings trading options.
These are some of my losses from yesterday and today. I know I’m not meant to be trading, but at this point, I am just addicted and tbh don’t know how to stop. What makes it even worse is that I actually recovered all of my losses at one point. I was finally back to where I started and had a chance to walk away. Instead, I went back in and started trading maniac again, and ended up losing it all and even more. Right now I’m down around $140k right now.
I tell myself every single day that I’m going to stop. I promise myself that I’m done, that I’ll walk away and rebuild. But then the market opens and I’ve already forgotten the promise I made to myself. I’m trading again, chasing losses and hoping the next trade will fix everything. I know how stupid and reckless this sounds. I know I’m destroying my own finances, but knowing that hasn’t been enough to make me stop.I don’t want to spend the next few years digging myself deeper into a hole that I created myself. I genuinely don’t know how to break this cycle.
If anyone has been through something similar and actually managed to stop, I’d really appreciate hearing how you did it.
