It seems to me that if you have time to pull out some music device and start up a Disney playlist, you have time to pull out a can of spray paint* and, uh, temporarily obscure the camera's lens.

*For legal reasons, I mean non-toxic, water soluble spray paint. I'm sure someone makes that.

If someone is following you around, you tell them to stop, and they continue? That’s grounds for defense, if you feel threatened and someone doesn’t back off you have the right to stand your ground in most states. Look at the lady in florida where a guy was recording her and following her over a parking space. She shot him and got charges dropped on self defense. The recording is just one aspect.
