Wasn’t Google Glass way more expensive? Meta glasses are like $350 and up.

I mean, they actually had a screen which would be like the most useful thing with smart glasses, so I'd argue way more capable.

They don't have screens though, so no ads over your eyes. If you want ads its $799 for 600x600.

extremely expensive, very less usable things to do on it, and super awkward to use/wear. meta glasses significantly improved all aspects of it

The mobile stores are starting to sell them with a juicy contract now, which makes them affordable to the everyman.
