It's a pity she's losing her daughter, but there's a difference between having someone savagely mutilate your child vs your child facing the consequences of murdering someone.
We can feel bad for both and acknowledge that pain felt by the mother of the victim has far more weight.
Like she raised a murderer. Didn't Pike herself say her mom let her boyfriends assault her as a kid? Yeah shes not winning mother of the year.
Pike deserved to die. You should read how she killed her victim. How she attempted to escape from prison twice and how she attempted to murder another inmate. She is a net loss to society, unrepentant, unremoseful, and a danger to anyone she meets. Justice for the victim would have been served with her death.
