Forever Beta Feedback Dungeon XP Nerfs Created a Toxic Meta

Since dungeon monsters do not give any experience, as a new player, getting into dungeons with more veteran players who try to skip half the dungeon feels really bad. And, vice-versa, veterans taking in newbies who don't know how to jump around feels frustrating. I think Blizzard created a mess with nerfing dungeon exp so much and now the new player experience is horrible for dungeons.

I agree. I love running dungeons for XP and upgrades. If you didn't get the upgrade you still had a whack of XP as a consolation. As it is, it just feels bad now.

I feel the opposite. I love running dungeons but would always level past them before getting all the loot drops I wanted. People don’t like inviting higher level players because they sap away the group xp.

Now I can run more dungeons to complete a loot set before I out level the content

Do you like keep the loot sets in your bank or something? I guess I don't understand why you would want to prolong the leveling process so you can get more loot when most people want to get more loot because it expedites the leveling process.

Wailing caverns has the set of the fang. It’s nearly impossible to get every piece before outleveling the dungeon. And now! The Forever version of the set turns your character into a snake!!

Leveling is the journey. Raiding at 60 is the destination. I don’t care if I ever make it to where I’m headed if the journey is fun. I also play hardcore classic so I might have different goals than most players.

Exactly, leveling is the journey. So let's stop policing how people choose to spend their time doing it. I think it's cool to want a full set of fang at level. I kept the scarlet set in my bank even through TBC. But others shouldn't have to suffer lower exp rates to accomodate my hoarding tendencies.
