Forever Beta Feedback Dungeon XP Nerfs Created a Toxic Meta

Since dungeon monsters do not give any experience, as a new player, getting into dungeons with more veteran players who try to skip half the dungeon feels really bad. And, vice-versa, veterans taking in newbies who don't know how to jump around feels frustrating. I think Blizzard created a mess with nerfing dungeon exp so much and now the new player experience is horrible for dungeons.

This is a lot less toxic than the alternative where everyone is just forming SPELL CLEAVE groups to farm dungeons over and over and over and over.

Blame min-max mentality not the dungeon change

This is a people problem. Dont dungeon spam if you dont want to. No clue how people can be bothered by other people choosing to play differently.

It's because these people think that due to dungeons not being ultra amazing for levelling it will make everyone come out into the world and start holding hands and having drum circles, socializing and talking about their day. All I have seen from other people out in the world is a bunch of kill and objective stealers while questing and even in towns at these camp fires people brag about so much 90% of the people using them just sit down for a minute and move on, people have created something in their head that doesn't and NEVER existed like back in classic everyone was best buds that helped eachother out and chatted all day long out in the questing zones when in reality it was just like now, ignoring eachother.

It's worse than you think, I played back then, forming a group for dungeons is how you made friends, it's the reason to be social in this game. In the outside world every person you see is just competing for your resources, the mobs you want to kill for that quest, the herbs you want to pick, whatever. But if running a dungeon is a very attractive prospect then suddenly you need 4 other people to cooperate with. If the dungeon is hard you need good people and you'll remember who was good and who was bad, and you'll be remembered by then in turn, you'll all put each other on your friends lists, maybe even join the same guild, etc etc etc.

The number one thing that killed the community in WoW was the automated group finder, especially since it automatically matched you with people from other servers who you'd never even see again.

If you want the vanilla through wotlk experience you want people incentivized to go into dungeons.

Weird. Every camp I've made has been me dropping one thing, then three more people showing up, dropping stuff, and chatting. I discovered druids can shapeshift into a snake at a campfire. It's honestly one of the neatest things they've implemented.
