😭 bro walked away from his wife after she caught a fade

355

u/ougryphon 6h ago

With anger issues like that, he's probably mad someone else was hitting his woman - that's his job

60

u/caulkmeetsandwedge 5h ago

at the very end he's going back over with what looks like a crowbar

45

u/Specialist_Goat_2354 3h ago

This is my exact argument on why if someone starts attacking you and you beat them. You should be able to beat them unconscious before leaving, because he could come back with a hammer and kill you. He let him up from the ground when he should have put his foot through his face to be safe

10

u/HoldenOrihara 1h ago

I mean he tripped over nothing getting it out of the car, I think the other guy is fine

2

u/Dirty_munch 1h ago

How big is the chance a guy in the us will shoot and kill you when he walks back to his car after a fight like that?

1

u/Entire-Writing6378 1h ago

Massive depending where you are. The Venn on road ragers vs gun in the car is probably about as close to full overlap as you'll see in statistics.

1

u/Special-Concert-8250 46m ago

Five out of 10

Realistically, the other person drives away before this happens

1

u/comedicsense 27m ago

Courts won’t understand this theory and lawyers love to take advantage of it.

2

u/fredjutsu 6m ago

Funeral homes *do*, though.

Something something rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6

-3

u/PlaneTry4277 2h ago

Why in the world are you getting up votes.

You dont simply beat someone unconscious, life is not the movies or a cartoon.

If you knock someone to the ground their head can bounce on the pavement. If you proceed to kick them, you can cause brain bleeds, death or turning them into a vegetable.

Guess what happens to you if you do that. I know reddit has a complete disregard for human life and all and runs purely off emotion but cmon now.

16

u/keeper_of_the_donkey 2h ago

The dude was walking back with a tire iron? He intended to do more damage than just having a head hit the pavement. White guy started it, and you have to protect yourself

6

u/ougryphon 1h ago

The victim here made the right legal decision based on the information he had at the time he let him go. He didn't know he was going to go get a tire iron (unless he yelled out "I'm going to get a weapon"), so he can't use excessive or lethal force on someone who has stopped fighting and fled the scene. (Caveat: in some states, he could be justified if he claimed had a reasonable fear for his life, but that would be an uphill battle in the legal system, especially for a black man.)

When Mr. Pickup Truck leaves the scene and returns with a weapon, he is starting a new assault - a felony assault with a deadly weapon. If the victim drew a gun or a knife, that would have been fully justified.

0

u/Zakkullll 1h ago

Thats not whats being argued. Pay attention to the thread..

2

u/Davti 1h ago

Their arguing against what the other one said

Morally or legally You dont have a right to kill, mame or further harm someone once they were retreating in most scenarios. The right to further self defence only comes once he has obtained the weapon and starts to make his way back over (which is to say if he armed up and sat in his truck you wouldnt have right to attack him over it)

2

u/ougryphon 1h ago

Exactly. The thread started with someone saying you should be allowed to beat someone unconscious because they might escalate if you let them flee. Then someone said (paraphrasing) "you can't do that legally, and it's showing a shocking disregard for human life to use lethal force against a non-lethal threat." Then someone points out that he did come back with a weapon, implying that beating him unconscious was the right call. Which led me to say you can't argue backwards from what did happen to what was legally justified earlier.

So yes, I am following the thread, and I agree with you.

0

u/psychedeliken 1h ago

You can’t convince people like ^. They lack survival instinct and skills.

4

u/BrotherMcPoyle 1h ago

It’s always the person who’s never been in a fight, that’s always trying to set the rules of fighting. All your pretenses will fade the second someone hits you.

True danger is a frightening place to be, and it’s not like watching a video. Never trust the person you’re fighting has boundaries.

2

u/Zorkflerp 1h ago

You could learn from Ender Wiggin. If someone attacks me there are no Marquess of Queensberry Rules. I will never start a fight but if someone starts one I will end it whatever it takes. A single punch can kill someone so any attack must be considered attempted murder. If the attacker is KOd I will leave, if they are not I will continue. This is a perfect example of why, the return with a deadly weapon.

2

u/luchito619 2h ago

You have a disregard for human life, the fucker is coming back with a weapon

1

u/DooDooBrownz 2h ago

also don't do that for legal reasons. this is a great way to grab a twofer: a felony battery or some kind of "attempted blah blah" from the state in criminal court and get sued civilly by the family of the "victim". no traffic bs is worth the months or years of that hassle, and being right or having the moral high ground doesn't always translate into courtroom wins. but it will certainly translate into many many thousands for lawyer fees. road raging douchebag is flying off the handle? create distance, record, call the cops. if he smashes your car, great, more ammo for the insurance and the lawsuit.

0

u/WhyMustIMakeANewAcco 2h ago

What you do is you leave. Just leave.

2

u/Specialist_Goat_2354 2h ago

Then they say you were fleeing the scene of a crime when the cops get there.

0

u/wannabestag86 1h ago

Just conceal carry. Problem solved

13

u/WhoSc3w3dDaP00ch 3h ago

i think it's a tire iron

How to get turned to swiss cheese 101.

2

u/Fine-Resident-2322 2h ago

Bro's an idiot since the dude is in his car and could easily use that as a weapon in response to attempted murder.

1

u/woahtheretakeiteasyy 2h ago

from getting your ass whopped to assault with a weapon. L after L

1

u/Zooshooter 1h ago

It's a crowbar

1

u/xkillingxfieldx 2m ago

Barely "walking" back, he stumbled out of his truck. Fighting off the TKO.

67

u/neighborofbrak 5h ago

So pickup dude is a cop or one on administrative leave?

45

u/JSTootell 5h ago

No gun, so he's definitely between departments.

-1

u/Redcarborundum 5h ago

It’s America, he’s allowed to have guns without being a cop. This is just a city slicker pretending to be a rough country boy by driving a truck, yet doesn’t have a gun.

6

u/TodlicheLektion 4h ago

That redneck bro definitely doesn’t live in the city. He has no street smarts. The other guy beating the redneck’s ass lives in the city, though. He handled it cool until he was attacked.

2

u/JadedBilboBaggins 1h ago

i'm willing to bet my house that the vast majority of people in USA whom drive pickups do not have loaded weapons inside the cab with them.

1

u/Due-Explanation-7560 3h ago

Dude is not from the city, suburbs or exburbs

-4

u/sugarcoatedpos 5h ago

It’s your dad.

State Trooper Energy

1

u/Lorelessone 2h ago

Yeah, fucked that so many women in these toxic relationships are loyal as hell.

-9

u/throwawayformobile78 5h ago

Right?! Black dude was like “let me show you how we treat em!” Lmfao.

50

u/Regular-Pangolin-664 5h ago

She was out of her element. I don't know what women think would happen when they assault a man in the street. It's a good thing this altercation was caught on camera so the guy in the white car can show he acted in self-defense.

17

u/clickmagnet 4h ago

Particularly with that curb there. She could have been stone dead from the fall.

7

u/aerdvarkk 3h ago

Head landing on the flat pavement could fuck her up also.

2

u/Specialist_Goat_2354 3h ago

Oh well. Her fault really.

2

u/iJuddles 3h ago

Dude’s gonna want this video for his defense.

2

u/llIIo0O-O0oIIll 2h ago

Its on the internet

1

u/iJuddles 2h ago

Yes, it is on the internet. I’m just saying this will come in handy to prove the other party approached him while he sat in his car. The way the woman went down like a chopped tree I wouldn’t be surprised if she slammed her head or neck on the curb; but she struck first. (He just got first blood…)

1

u/llIIo0O-O0oIIll 1h ago

This is a repost. Its been out for a while now.

We really need an update.

1

u/hoppydud 1h ago

They would likely still charge manslaughter

1

u/SquatSquatCykaBlyat 2h ago

No worries, she was braindead already.

1

u/Emergency_Classic641 3h ago

Good riddance 🤷

1

u/ButtholeConnoisseur7 2h ago

You really wishing death on somebody for this shit? Man get help

2

u/Independent-Bug-9352 28m ago

You're orders of magnitude more mature, wise, intelligent than those here who always just go straight to, "ah well, death deserved." Same fuckwits who'd be chanting at Salem Witch trials because they're so impressionable and reactive.

1

u/ButtholeConnoisseur7 23m ago

For all the talk of acceptance, this place turns rabid the second they have a reason to hate somebody. As soon as it looks like they've done something bad. I don't mean the wealthy leaders and politicians, that's a whole separate discussion I don't want. You see it a lot with celebrities, or when reddit collectively discovered/fell in love with "fuck around, find out"

2

u/Emergency_Classic641 2h ago

She made her choice when she ran up between two men fighting and decided to try and help her man jump the victim. I have no sympathy for her

2

u/Independent-Bug-9352 30m ago

Then she and you share a common problem.

2

u/TheBourbonTurtle 2h ago

Stupid people don't really need to exist. Why would anyone feel bad about there being one less?

1

u/Independent-Bug-9352 29m ago

Because in a different context, you're stupid too. You just haven't realized it yet.

1

u/TheBourbonTurtle 24m ago

Sounds like something an idiot would say...

1

u/Appropriate-Gur2972 57m ago

And to be fair I don’t think the commenter is actively wishing for it, I think they just aren’t giving sympathy for her.

1

u/ButtholeConnoisseur7 46m ago

Nah, the connotation of "good riddance" is "I'm glad"

1

u/Emergency_Classic641 22m ago

You actually have common sense, that’s a rarity on Reddit. Take your award 🥇

16

u/Sea-Quarter4350 4h ago

Well a lot of times they can get away with it. The old teaching was, “you can’t hit girls….you can’t hit her she is a woman…etc etc….”

As a man you felt defenseless because you cannot defend yourself. We all have heard the common lines….”why don’t you just run away….just hold them down…call the cops…no way this woman hurt you, she is smaller than you…

For the most part men just accepted this part of being a man. However, these younger dudes are moving different. They are hitting these women back when they decide to lay hands on them. It is wild because some do not hold back.

12

u/xChoke1x 2h ago

I don’t give a fuck who attacks me. Man or woman. If you hit me, I’m drilling you back. Period.

The idea that a woman can just hit a dude and a dude has to take it…..is fucking absurd.

1

u/RickyDaleEverclear 33m ago

Sweep and stomp

9

u/ThatOneGuy6810 3h ago

Equal rights means equal lefts too

1

u/A_Complaisance_Girl 2h ago

As a woman I completely agree with this.

10

u/Emergency_Classic641 3h ago

Why hold back? She came up and hit him. I don’t see a reason to hold back because she has a vagina.. she wrote a check with her hands that her ass couldn’t cash. She deserved it.

2

u/StagedC0mbustion 2h ago

It was so chaotic he might not have even been able to tell it was a girl

2

u/cardcollector_2 2h ago

She was used to the swings from her husband. Didn’t think she’d get hit by a real man.

3

u/MindAggravating5365 2h ago

Having been abused for years by a woman and then ultimately arrested for false charges in an incident where I was the victim once again, I no longer think that way. I now support those guys. Women like this have just never in their lives faced consequences or accountability. Plenty of men have learned that lesson through a punch to the face..

2

u/PictureVegetable9522 2h ago

It is wild because some do not hold back.

its wild women think they can assault men with zero consequences

maybe dont attack men for no reason if you dont want to get your ass beat

3

u/Regular-Pangolin-664 3h ago

I have seen some crazy chicks hitting men and then getting body slammed or knocked out cold. The thing is even when a man had to knock out a woman due to self-defense the men almost never hit twice or never deliver follow up shots, combos on women. One punch, one bodyslam, one hip toss, one takedown. So they still hold back. Almost never seen guys going beyond necessary self-defense. Meanwhile these ladies hit many times. When two women fight they whale on each other and pull each other's hair for as long as their cardio lasts or someone separates them. Men want to end the fight. Women want the drama, annihilate the other.

2

u/cipherjones 3h ago

Hitting a woman attacking you, and hitting a woman attacking you within a group ain't the same thing.

1

u/WhatTheFlipFlopFuck 1h ago

You're right, no one has ever gotten a light tap on the wrong spot and died in a group setting from a head injury, only in 1-1's

1

u/Existing_Height_9129 1h ago

Do you just read things and your mind interprets them to say something entirely different?

1

u/WhatTheFlipFlopFuck 1h ago

What?

My point that I was sarcastically trying to make is that anyone attacks you, in a group setting or no, is a threat to your life - because people frequently get hit by something small and get knocked out to die, accumulate brain damage, kill nerves or spinal connectivity, etc.

What did you think I was saying?

1

u/SizeComprehensive934 3h ago

As they shouldn't.

1

u/Lokkia111 2h ago

My mom hit my stepfather with a frying pan once, knocked him out. She was always the instigator. He never hit her, he just wasn't a violent person. He also never left her, which i will never understand, because she was definitely the abuser in that relationship.

1

u/fredjutsu 5m ago

>As a man you felt defenseless

There was never an era in human history where a majority of men gave a shit about that rule.

1

u/InvidiousPlay 3h ago

He got out of the car to have a fight. He's going to have trouble arguing self defense when he could have just driven away or kept the car locked.

Is that satisying? No. Is it the law? Yes.

1

u/step_on_glass 3h ago

was thinking this exact same thing. everyone here is obviously satisfied by these 2 getting their ass whooped. but the guy in the car DID escalate the situation and go above and beyond what was required to stop the altercation. and then the third party (the woman) got the worst of it and looks like she could have hit her head badly in the fall. not to mention the race of the people. i think he will have a hard time in court with this one

1

u/playadave1963 2h ago

If she dies from hitting her head on the pavement, he gets manslaughter at a minimum.

1

u/readyReddit007 2h ago

A lot of women walk around with the idea that they can do anything to men (even strangers) and that they will NEVER hit them back.

1

u/Classic_Bee_5845 2h ago

She stood behind him waiting for an opening, lol. Then throws the weakest little jab, then get's leveled with one hit. Then her dude just leaves her laying in the road to go get a tire iron. These people man.

1

u/teoshie 1h ago

I beat the shit out of a guy once at 117 5'1

but he definitely didnt think I would fight back. had he been prepared he probably would have whooped my ass

1

u/AngryPrincessWarrior 1h ago

Too many women don’t expect to be hit back. I say this as a woman and that mindset infuriates me. Equal lefts and rights and all that. If you swing on someone imo- be prepared to get hit back regardless of gender.

I had a friend when I was about 17-18, (I no longer associate with), who slapped a guy on my porch she was talking to. I was sitting on the side of the porch behind her and they were standing on the porch. I don’t know what their disagreement was but she slapped him hard and clearly didn’t expect him to hit her back. It wasn’t the first time I’d seen her do this to a guy either.

And she was right.

It pissed me off so badly I stood up slapped the everloving fuck out of the back of her head. She spin around all pissed off with her hand up and I reminded her if she followed through that I would absolutely hit her back and would likely be able to beat her ass.

Funny how suddenly she lost her nerve to slap when faced with repercussions.

26

u/Naive_Personality367 5h ago

watch the whole thing, he went to his car to grab a tire iron or some other shit and go back in there

36

u/DaRealGladi8r 5h ago

I saw that, but he needed to make sure she was OK before getting armed. He gave zero Fs about her

12

u/Naive_Personality367 5h ago

true words. like it didnt even register in his brain lol

9

u/JSTootell 5h ago

Could have reevaluated, decided that was dumb, and helped his woman back to the truck and retreated.

But...

1

u/yellow251 3h ago

Better to leave her in the street than be a bitch; she might leave his weak ass for that. I guess?

5

u/Phog_of_War 5h ago

He was pissed that the other guy was hitting g his wife this time and not him, like normal.

1

u/you_slash_stuttered 2h ago

Exactly. When they get home she will probably catch a 2nd beating for trying to get another man's attention.

20

u/Hash-82 5h ago

It was a hammer.
A fucking PINK hammer 🤣

23

u/Naive_Personality367 5h ago edited 5h ago

oh shit. must be his lady's road rage hammer

10

u/Canadatron 5h ago

with his limp wrists he's just going to hurt himself.

6

u/ItsShuaYo 4h ago

He got his ass kicked well enough on round 1 I'd bet he still gets cleaned up even with a hammer as a weapon.

3

u/MarionberryPlus8474 3h ago

He fell over while getting it out of his truck, his brain has been scrambled.

I could have sworn I saw this video about a month ago and it showed the guy with the hammer getting knocked out. Good riddance.

1

u/cainhurstboy 3h ago

I would feel confident taking that guy w limp wrists and a hammer

2

u/ItsShuaYo 3h ago

I respect that take honestly all he's gotta do is connect 1 time and it's a done deal. But he looks like he's never hit a man in his life until he got his ass whooped so I'm guessing he doesn't know what he's doing.

1

u/pleasedonotredeem 1h ago

It's pretty hard to hurt someone with a hammer if they are stronger than you, unless you surprise them. A hammer is terrifying if the attacker is bigger and stronger, but it's not really going to even out an unfair fight.

4

u/MoreCowbellllll 3h ago

Nah, he stole that hammer from a union tradesman. Painting tools pink can deter theft.

“Can”.

2

u/ExtraKhlavKalash 1h ago

Well that just went from assault to aggravated assault.

1

u/Signal_Werewolf_1955 5h ago

I don't care about the color, a hammer's a hammer, but he paid the Pink Tax for this one. Probably to ensure the toxic masculines won't steal it; smart.

1

u/Pristine_Albatross36 5h ago

It's not pink. It's probably a Milwaukee hammer.

1

u/TuorSonOfHuor 4h ago

So dude decided he’s all in and is going to prison over some minor traffic incident. Cool

1

u/RackemFrackem 3h ago

That's a pry bar

1

u/ShakeZula77 8m ago

Pink is just a color, settle down.

1

u/Texas_Bill_2112 4h ago

I played it in slow motion and it was definitely an eggplant

7

u/Bushiest_Beavor 5h ago

I really wish I could’ve seen part 2

3

u/Vanessak69 5h ago

I need part 1 for that matter.

2

u/BlackSquirrel05 5h ago

Probably an arrest record and court case out there for part 2.

5

u/Am_Snarky 3h ago

While almost falling over cause he’s a little concussed

2

u/TheKarenator 3h ago

His logic: This guy rocked me while I and my girl were at 100%. I am now at 50%, my girl is at 0%, and he is unharmed. I better go back and finish him off.

1

u/mrhousee 3h ago

Where’s the full vid?

1

u/Busy-Recognition-982 1h ago

There is a full video? Where?

3

u/crapheadHarris 5h ago

S'ok. Curb broke her fall.

5

u/pepperNlime4to0 5h ago

Curb probably broke her neck

4

u/Sirbrandon100 4h ago

Straight GTA NPC activities 😭

10

u/Caleb_Reynolds 5h ago

Did everyone miss where he's going to get a weapon?

7

u/Fluffy-League6261 5h ago

Yeah wtf where's part 2

But seriously if he walked back to his car I wouldn't be sticking around to fight longer what if it was a gun

3

u/LuckyMushyGrower 6h ago

Daaaaaang 😂

2

u/Far-Perspective-4889 5h ago

Right, and left her in the road

2

u/Wulfgrimm720 4h ago

I don't think a "man" like that cares about his wife

2

u/National-Wonder-5206 4h ago

He went and got a hammer* dude is fucking psychotic

2

u/cliff99 4h ago

What an upstanding indivual.

1

u/Electronic-Taro6422 5h ago

Till death do us part… unless things get physical. 😭

1

u/Ronaldo_Frumpalini 5h ago

I don't think he even saw

1

u/FirstChurchOfBrutus 4h ago

She might have caught a curb with her skull, too. There’s a damned good chance she’s dead.

1

u/JrRiggles 3h ago

It wouldn’t be the first time he walked away from her after she got punched in the face

1

u/PlumberSaysWhat 3h ago

He went to get a weapon from his vehicle. Right before video ends you can see him heading back towards the white car with a weapon in hand.

1

u/HEFTYFee70 3h ago

He walked back into frame with a crowbar…

1

u/Excellent_Shirt9707 3h ago

He went to get a crowbar.

1

u/EasyElk3382 3h ago

he's avenging her. it's what she would've wanted

1

u/Extension_Ideal_4012 1h ago

That was likely head on concrete too. She looked out before she hit the ground

1

u/DaRealGladi8r 1h ago

Yep... Looks like it's right on the curb

1

u/Funkopedia 1h ago

For a minute i thought he was about to just drive off without her!

1

u/Proper_Mix1466 27m ago

He don’t love her

1

u/xkillingxfieldx 1m ago

Her consciousness got CTRL ALT DEL Task Manager End Program.
