This most egregious part of this is the unnamed in the title third leader of this "initiative" - Palmer Luckey, the literal founder of Anduril Technologies, a defense contractor who has built their entire portfolio around products with a healthy share of vaporware and pixie dust and enough cowboy engineering to have major security concerns.

A military contractor and a tech oligarch are now steering the US military. The sellers deciding what products will be bought.
