Damn near certain that over 95% of the people complaining about HSR still play it daily

because HSR is the true traditional gacha like FGO its quick and doesnt require much stuff even if many people say they hate it

>doesn’t require much stuff

HSR fans after performing 1/1000th of the resource grind of an FGO fan

FGO retain their playerbase because of an 3rd party auto farming app never stop being funny.

That app is Android-only; iOS users get to grind manually.

I've been playing FGO since launch and never used any kind of automation tools

How's your class scores looking?

500 Golden Statues for each class,  and then probably another 150 for the extra classes.

If you've got the loop down, and are going to use the apples then just set up FGA and one night clear out whatever you're gonna farm. Watch an entire season of a fate anime and come back to 500 million QP or whatever from treasure vault runs.

It's not like any built account has any trouble clearing farm maps,  at least until Grand Hardest Difficulty farming and that's just because of class specific limitations,  not exactly any meta Lancers known for farm buffers.

If you can 3 turn the Kazuradrop Event 90++ node..  why bother directly playing it... 200 times yourself doing the exact same 15 button presses in a row?

Hell if you're farming with Ciel and Summer BB like I am, there's not even much RNG left in the game. Just if the starting crit card is 90% or 100%

Even then i think if my extra class 1 score got higher that would be 100% all the time.

Eh, if you do a few lottos, you're (mostly) OK.

Honestly, I think FGO requires less grind, because we just need what is essentially a Bill of Materials to upgrade our servants.

HSR characters require specific sets with specific stats in particular alignments to be good.

Okay, but you need to manually do everything unless you use a third party, Android-only app. That makes FGO more grindy basically by default.

I kinda disagree in a weird way. Simply due to old unit still being viable…I don’t know how to describe it.

Like I can clear the end game content with my year 1 unit in FGO since the buff happens often enough and the equipment is universal. However in HSR I have to PRAY for Novaflare or a unit that can support the DPS and in the latter I have to grind for equipments again which is way worse since you can waste time autoing and achieve nothing for several DAYS just for semi decent foot and chest piece.

Fgo is grindier, but content can be cleared even with mid investment.

FGO doesnt really have super hard content, only the new monthly one in JP and the Grand Servant ones (where you can borrow a whale and just 1-turn clear it lmao). I dont play much but the best units in the game rn are pretty much overkill vs the content the game has

The reverse is true with HSR, the grind is easy but optimization is hard because of relics. The banners have guarantees so a daily login player could roughly pull at the very least 1 new unit every 2 patches. And endgames require skill in terms of game knowledge and planning, min-maxing etc. Being a mid-spender can make you skip some of the optimization part, but I guess thats the main revenue draw

Tbh relic farming is just as bad, if not worse than mats in FGO
