The White House rolled out "Trump TV" as a 24/7 streaming feed immediately after exiling CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, which caused the rest of the White House television pool—even Fox News—to refuse pool duties in solidarity.
Launching a dedicated, branded 24/7 administration channel right as the pool boycott and federal First Amendment lawsuit landed makes the three-day gap look a lot less like a spontaneous reaction to bad coverage and a lot more like a planned transition to an in-house state media broadcast.

- No question that the stance the major media outlets have taken is a step in the right direction, & better than the alternative.
- Another legal battle (while important & necessary) is not likely to get under Trump’s skin.
What I wish would have happened, in addition to the Court filings is:
- A mass walk out of the correspondents, on live TV and/or
- A high-profile correspondent calling out Trump on his reprehensible behavior or his blatant lies & then walking out. Again, this needs to be on live TV.
