Forever Beta Feedback Dungeon XP Nerfs Created a Toxic Meta
Since dungeon monsters do not give any experience, as a new player, getting into dungeons with more veteran players who try to skip half the dungeon feels really bad. And, vice-versa, veterans taking in newbies who don't know how to jump around feels frustrating. I think Blizzard created a mess with nerfing dungeon exp so much and now the new player experience is horrible for dungeons.

Pasta My in-laws insist on cooking pasta with (unwashed) eggs
Edit: This is in the UK, where eggs you buy in the store are not pre-washed like in the US. I just meant to point that out, not imply that you should wash your eggs before cooking. The eggs here do sometimes have visible feces on them, so it’s not really ideal to use the same pot as pasta, because even sterilised poop is still 💩. Their reasoning is that they are lazy to use a second pot since it’s not necessary.

This is a video taken by Nicolas De La Torre, a sandboarding enthusiast filming his descent down the Toromata dune in Peru. Unfortunately we live in a world where true beauty, nature is now convoluted by AI and AI sentiments, but this is in fact, not AI lol

General I hate how AI water debates always miss the point
Whenever I see debates on the water consumption of AI datacenter, it's always the same stupid discussion: pro-AI say "look those stuffs consume water too", anti-AI say "but they're useful". And they're always both so wrong.
AI datacenters costume drinkable water, the one that people need to stay alive. So forget about industry, agriculture, golf courses, ... they all (generally) consume undrinkable water, the one that flows to the sea.
All AI usages are not comparable, some consume very modestly for great benefits, some waste tons of water for forgettable slop. In general, LLM are comparable to other computing tasks (like playing video games) and has found great usage (and some very questionable ones), and everything related to media generation consume stupidly more and only create slop that you'll forget the second after (apart of being used as placeholder while waiting for actual art).
This is a 0political problem, datacenters can be implanted in place that don't disturb people nor the environment much, where water is plentiful, and include their own water treatment facility (or upgrade local ones). It has been the case for decades. The problem is now they are allowed to do whatever they want as long as they beat China, no matter if their neighbors die of thirst in their now dirt worth house facing those eyesores.
Water is wasted too on some of those examples. A golf course is only useful to a bunch of rich kids who'll never have to suffer from the consequences of water shortage. And you don't need to clean your big ass car every week. One doesn't invalidate the other.

Lore Actors who suggested a change to their character’s design, personality, or lore because they thought the original script/concept was too lame
Lucius Malfoy (Harry Potter) - Jason Isaacs
The studio originally wanted him in a modern Muggle pinstripe suit with short hair. Isaacs thought that looked like a boring businessman rather than a powerful wizard. He demanded the long platinum wig, wizard robes, and personally added the snake-headed walking cane that conceals his wand.
The Thin Man (Charlie's Angels 2000) - Crispin Glover
In the original script, he was just a generic, chatty action movie villain. Glover thought his lines were incredibly cliché and boring, so he suggested cutting all of his dialogue. He turned the character into a completely silent, hair-sniffing creep, making him the most memorable part of the movie.
Count Dooku (Star Wars) - Christopher Lee: In Episode II, George Lucas originally scripted/choreographed Dooku to use a standard, straight lightsaber. As a real-world world-class fencer, Lee found the standard hilt design clumsy and "lame" for a master duelist. He convinced the team to give Dooku the curved hilt, completely changing the character's fighting style and lore to fit elegant, fencing-based Makashi forms.
Superman (Superman 2025) - David Corenswet Following Henry Cavill's trunkless suit, director James Gunn and DC Studios initially leaned toward a "no trunks" design for the reboot, fearing that the classic red briefs looked too outdated, silly, or hard to make look "cool." However, David Corenswet passionately advocated for the trunks. He argued that Superman shouldn't care about looking cool. Instead, the trunks are intentionally a little silly and theatrical — like a professional wrestler—making an immensely powerful alien look approachable and safe, ensuring that everyday citizens and kids wouldn't be afraid of him.
